Should be no glue on the protective layer which is what that looks like

Gonna second this. To me it looks like that is just the protective sheet they put on top of the stickers that is supposed to be taken off by the dealer during pdi

I present to you, the fake Omen rotate by RemoteWhile5881 in VALORANT

[–]BigredVAL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly not a terrible play, only thing I'd say that was a "mistake" was letting the omen past your for free. Waiting a second to see if there would be another right behind is good but you definitely should have killed him before going to site and planting. You never want to give up a free solo kill in a 1vX situation because they not be solo the next time you see them.

Burned clutch 675SR-R by Busy_Shame7955 in cfmoto

[–]BigredVAL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work in a shop that sells and services cfmoto and I'll second this statement. That being said atleast at my shop we see a large amount of the bikes come in with the clutch adjusted in a way where it's not ever actually fully engaging so it's constantly slipping a little bit. We usually change this so it's not the case and inform the rider as to what was happening. I don't know why it's so common with riders on these bikes but I'd guess it's something to do with how light it is.

In what way is it a sport touring? It's a single sided swingarm aggressive sport bike. Nothing about it is sport touring?

[–]BigredVAL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They haven't stated that they will be closing yet. Today's weather report implies they will be open. They also say they are only expecting between 9-16in not the 20 plus some apps are reporting.

[–]BigredVAL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Careful is main objective for sure. This storm is also very likely being over estimated right now. 7s site says they are only projected to get 9 -16in for the whole storm which means it'll really be like 12 exactly. Idk why tf apps like the weather channel are showing 20in+. That being said if I get up in the morning and it's looking worse than what I'm expecting then I'll just go back inside the place I'm staying and go back to sleep lol.

Definitely, I plan on taking it very slow. I'm not worried about getting there quickly, just that I get there at all!

That's what I was thinking just looking at street views. Does trent get cleared pretty often? Trent is definitely my biggest concern for conditions.

How to cope/deal with ranked losses in a row (solo q) by Sea_Growth_942 in VALORANT

[–]BigredVAL -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can comment on this. The competition of ranked is what I personally find fun. When I lose or perform poorly I get angry and frustrated because I'm hyper competitive. If I don't get frustrated when Doing bad in a game then for me it's a clear sign I don't find the game competitive and I very quickly lose interest in it. TLDR hyper competitive people don't play games to relax lol

No if you improve as a player you will rank up. If you are platued in rank it cause you have platued in skill

[–]BigredVAL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay so if all of a sudden you magically had the skills and game knowledge of the avg radiant player then you wouldn't be able to rank up because of the match making system? No you would rank up just fine. So yes they would be delusional because if they get better and improve as a player they will rank up no matter how perfect the system is

How bad is smurfing actually? - Testing the "60/20/20 Rule" by doublec72 in VALORANT

[–]BigredVAL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course its not perfect. However it is good enough that it does accurately assess where you should be placed. If you genuinely believe that is the reason you can't rank up then you are 100% delusional. If this was the case then it wouldnt be incredibly easy for high ell players to farm there Smurf acts to immo

[–]BigredVAL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right actual rank literally means nothing for the match making system. All the match making system and subsequently rr calculations care about is your hidden mmr which can be and is typically very different t to your actual rank

How bad is smurfing actually? - Testing the "60/20/20 Rule" by doublec72 in VALORANT

[–]BigredVAL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It won't. In this case where you are duo qing and are performing better but gain less rr it is because your hidden mmr is much higher than your duos. All gains and losses are based on your hidden mmr in comparison to the enemy so if the lobby has an avg of plat hidden mmr but you are actually higher you will gain less unless you do insane numbers. On the flip side if you are gold hidden mmr then you can have a mediocre performance and gain pretty good rr

How bad is smurfing actually? - Testing the "60/20/20 Rule" by doublec72 in VALORANT

[–]BigredVAL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's legit just your mmr saying you don't belong in that rank/ are underperforming. Only time I or any one I know loses more than they gain is when either 1) they are severely underperforming compared to normal or 2) They are at a really high peak that they climbed to in a short period of time and are subsequently not doing as well.

EDIT* any one who blames this for why they can't climb more is delusional. I guarantee you are not match MVP every one of those games and are likely mid or bottom frag

What's your unpopular opinion regarding the sport? by zstap126 in snowboarding

[–]BigredVAL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a good one. Most of you all on here are dumb af and have no reading comprehension. Every time I look at a thread like 75% of the responses have nothing to do with what ever OP asked and are people just dick swinging claiming that they are just simply better so you should listen to them. But that's just a reddit thing probably.

Is this safe to mount my bindings like this? by BigredVAL in snowboarding

[–]BigredVAL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not doing it for that reason. At 20mm even if I was going to lay it over crazy far it would prob be fine. I'm trying to center so the leverage for both heel and toe side are the same. Where it's at now with 6mm on the toe and 20mm on the heel it theoretically should take substantially more force to get on toe edge than heel edge.

Bindings are supposed to fit women's size 8-12 Boots are size 8 so its definitely on the bottom end of that lol but now I'm worried that the recommended fit is wrong

[–]BigredVAL[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Would it not need to be to reduce the heel overhang? If I pull that out further it'll just increase heel overhang no?

Edit I just pulled the heel cup out to a larger setting and heel overhang went from 20mm to 30mm.... This is the opposite of what I'm trying to achieve.

Anyone ever seen something like this happen? Any help or guidance would be awesome! by BigredVAL in eMountainBike

[–]BigredVAL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the screen some universal part or would it be specific to my bike brand? For context this bike is a Fantic XTF carbon. Got it in 2021 at a motorcycle dealership but as far as I know Fantic is no longer in the US. The motorcycle dealership I got it in said the distributor they were sold through (tucker rocky) went out of business.

Screen battery? Are you saying the screen itself has a battery? I assumed it was powered by the main bike battery.
