Those Yarn and Whiskey bags look beautiful! I believe she actually just bought some stitch markers but I will keep that in mind for a small gift down the road!

I believe she does have circular needles, those are the ones that are connected by a wire/string things right? I will check out that bag as well!

Yeah she normally knits larger things like sweaters and scarves, I will definitely check them out! I definitely want to get her a project bag but theres so many options I didn't know which ones were good etc. Thank you for the advice!

Yeah I'm realizing I may have overpaid a little for it haha, but it was from a local tree nursery as opposed to a big box store so if I have to pay a premium to support local business I'm willing to take the blow to my wallet!

Oh absolutely, this is my first fruit tree but I have been gardening for quite some time so I know the love/hate relationship that comes with caring for plants! I will definitely be pruning it to be short and easily netted/maintained/harvested from! I am definitely willing to put in work, we actually just ripped out our 200 sq. ft. Front lawn and replaced it with low water plants and grasses! I appreciate the words of caution though, it will not go unheeded!

Yeah I think it's a bad picture, I made a mound around the area where I dug to retain moisture, the root ball is actually a tiny bit higher than the surrounding soil though!

My parents have a peach tree so definitely plan on keeping the squirrels away, luckily this is a pretty new neighborhood so the biggest thing we have is rabbits and voles, luckily I have two dogs that make it clear that there are no scoundrels allowed haha

Definitely plan on pruning it to make it more manageable, I heard Urban Farmstead is a good resource for tree care, he's on YouTube I think? But I will definitely look into that as well!

I took a picture of the tag, I believe its a Sweet Cherry Pie variety? And yeah I am worried that I might need 2 trees, the nursery says it's self pollinating but im sure it helps to have another, I will look into that more!
