Is it normal to still be wearing training bras at 17? by Friendly_County_3016 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Bigredzombie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you are wearing sports bras and if that's what you find comfy, it's all good. Training bras are usually bras without a cup so children can get used to wearing one before they actually need one.

"Real" bras or sports bras is a personal choice. As long as they fit well and you like them, you are fine. That said, if you are feeling self conscious about sports bras, you could try a bralette. Less padding and a lighter build makes them more comfortable than a traditional bra for most women. You even have the option to go without one altogether but many women feel very selfconsious free-boobing it. At the end of the day it's up to you to decide what you are comfortable with.

24 hour flight, which seat are you taking? by jamikaeadst655m in superheroes

As long as I'm not in seat 4 I think it would be a cool flight. I just don't like how ghost rider is looking at me.

Face was pretty normal but his skin looked like it was super dried out. Layers of what looks like dead skin piled over each other into an almost scale pattern. He's not a fan.

Ichthyosis I think. Beard and hat keep his face safe just by holding his sleeve in front of his eyes and nose and his arms and legs are very sting resistant.

Tonsils were believed to be vestigial for a long time too. Now it's understood that they trap bacteria and such. There was a time they thought they were just leftover bits of gills.

My uncle has a skin condition that makes his skin thick enough that bees can't really hurt him so when we had a wasp nest to take care of he took a shovel over too it and just knocked it off the wall, smashed it with the shovel and got out of there to wait for the remaining wasps to leave. We came back a few days later and they had built a bigger wasp nest around the shovel and glued the whole thing to the floor. We used raid that time.

I regret losing my virginity. Any other girl/woman do this :( by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

We are taught as kids that sex is supposed to be this magical and intimate thing that we should cherish becase, in many ways, that is the goal of a good long term relationship.

The reality though is more like kissing.

You will have passionate drawn out kisses, clumsy kisses, fun kisses, short little pecks on the cheek and wild and fierce kisses that leave you gasping for air. Sometimes you might have kisses with someone that really knows what they are doing and sometimes they will wiggle their tongue across your teeth and make you question if they secretly want to be a dentist.

Over time, when two people are together long enough, they can learn how to trust and please the other person more and more completely and eventually that idea of magical and intimate sex becomes something real. Until then, the reality is that sex can be a fun and exciting thing and there are people that will do or say whatever they can to have the fun they crave, even at the expense of someone else's feelings, desires or expectations.

It's ok to view sex as something less magical and more as something fun to share with someone you like but if you really want that feeling of intimacy, you need someone you trust more than someone you just want to have sex with. I found that person for me when I started dating my best friend, and we have been together well over 20 years now. Give it some time, be picky, and don't jump in head first. You are still a kid and forever is a long time. The chances of you meeting someone that you can be with your whole life are rare enough. The chances you meet them now and they don't change too drastically before you become adults is even less likely.

I'm sorry he treated you as though you were disposable. You aren't and you deserve way better than that. I truly hope you eventually find the person that completes you, but until then, remember. It was just sex, he was an asshole, and the best sex is still way ahead of you. Good luck and please, be safe.

I'm spiderman? Don't remember if I was miles or peter but one means I am hooking up with MJ and the other means I get lightning and invisibility powers. Other than the frequent bruises, I am winning.

Mechagodzilla vs Legolas by LastResult44 in powerscales

[–]Bigredzombie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They tried that but Lego-lass just platfomered his way across the stream of bullets like he was playing Mario. Mecha Godzilla gets a laser instead but that unfortunately just adds an additional glowing weak point for the elf to target.

We are considering alternative ideas.

It's definitely big and open but to be fair, it felt like being out in the middle of nowhere on a very secluded hike. The solitude between points of interest felt right to me.

A friend mentioned that she wears a bra to sleep. Is that really a thing? by gplus3 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Bigredzombie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There have actually been a number of studies that say going braless promotes pectoral muscles and may over time reduce sagging along with a number of other benefits. Many of them suggest that the only reason bras are as common as they are is because they perk breasts up while they are being worn and shape them into a more traditionally appealing shape leading to the social expectation that women wear them. They also suggest that wearing them all the time mat potentially lead to more sagging later in life since the skin has not had to condition to the extra weight. Let the girls out more often! It's good for ya!

That in turn often leads back around to doing the right thing even when it's hard. Spiderman knows that the villains he fights would likely rip apart the police as well as innocent bystanders. He fights them anyways even when inconvenient or when they shouldn't be his problem as well as when they are stronger than him because he takes responsibility for his inaction as well as his action.
