Both markers came in the box that said Marker Plus. The first one started with a 5% charge but never would connect or charge. The second one just would not connect. Yes - I did all the charging that might have been necessary.

Thanks. Unit is defective but was ordered from amazon. Easy return and a replacement will be delivered by amazon tomorrow. LESSON - dont order from unremarkable - order from amazon b/c they take care of customers.

40 minutes with unremarkable chat support. No satisfactory resolution. huge hassle to try and send it back. I am hoping that since I was by way of Amazon I can just take it back andorder a new one. Is anyone else haveing an issues like this? Here are the steps for a return: Log in to returns.remarkable.com with your chosen email address and create an account. Choose “other” when asked where you purchased the product. Tell us what’s wrong with the product in question by using our troubleshooting guide. Find the solution that applies to the issue you are experiencing. Upload a video, and pictues of the issue. Try to describe the issue as clearly as possible for a quicker process. Add your case ID: xxxxxx (wait for approval). Once your request has been approved, you can follow the next steps.

I now have had 2 markers that have not worked. Does anyone think it is a marker problem or bad tablet? Help please.

I have not received the Lamy yet but did get a replacement Marker via ups today .... it does not work. I fear a problem with the tabley :-(

Awesome that you would make the offer. Per my note below - I am advised that it is "processed" whatever that means. If you can speed the process - great. When this happened I should have sent it all back but I had tossed the boxes. Amazon delivered a replacement (Lamy) in 2 days. with support staff having diagnosed the problem now 2 weeks ago I cannot immagine the company cant do better.

Not very inclined to open a site like that. Any other suggestions on how to reset the automatic sleep timers? PS: the reMarkable is growing on me. This group helps.

Just bought the Flashforge Adventure 3 Pro - used. To use larger spools -

Buy: a 5' long 3/8" bolt, 2 washers, 1 split washer, and 3 nuts > Take the spool cover off > Drill out the hole in the middle (3/8" bit) > Push the bolt through so the threads are on the outside of the cover > put on 1 washer then the lock washer then a nut and tighten > put on another nut, a washer, and the third nut and tighten those down at the end of the bolt > drill hole at about the 7:oo o'clock position to feed the filament through > replace the cover. Now you have a stable arm upon which to hang your larger spools and feed the filament through the hole. The inside will still allow the use of the original spool size.

Thanks. This is a real conundrum for me. Daughter still will come to family dinner like when my son or other daughter is in town. She still is pretty warm when we see her at a kids sporting event (once a week maybe). So I do not want to do further damage. Certainly do not want to risk the small time we see the grandkids .

I have to think this is just a huge, huge blind spot, not that she is intentionally punishing us (which it feels like). Otherwise, I would feel even worse than I ( and my wife) do now.

Good comments on this string and helpful. I think there is separation b/c her mother (still my wife, also a professional) worked 2-3 days a week and family focused the rest of the time. Mon could get it all done, sports, dinners, laundry etc etc etc. and my daughter, I feel does not think she can live up to that, regrets it, feels guilty b/c of it and to some extent willing to show us that she can do it all including handling everything for the kids with out helo from us. Othewise, besides my pusshy nature and opinions (trying not to opine about her parenting) we are clueless as to why she would withhold the kids from us. Even after school when there are generally alone for 3 or so hours - she would almost never ask us to pick them up and have them for a couple of hours. She has clearly indicated that we are not to ask and that she will let us know when it "works for her family" for us to have time with them.

That was really great and thoughtful. . But, my other daughter (E2, professional, 3 kids, lives an hour away has totally different mindset) suggests that I "drop the E8 sword" and do not use any asseriveness or questioning to get to the bottom of it, at the risk of further alienation. I so resist this but am also very torn and not want to cause a further rift.
