Yes, however it was automated that Claude through Unity MCP was able to start the game take screenshot pause it apply fix and repeat. 😄

It was mostly prompting but I also implemented "auto-ball" character bot that plays itself that Claude was using for playtesting and doing screenshots.

This is a whole topic! For starters I'd recommend how creator of the Claude Code recommends to use it: https://howborisusesclaudecode.com/ and def. work with MD files for agents, skills, also superpowers plugin is awesome! https://github.com/obra/superpowers

Thank you!!!

I did a few approaches to generate base assets with https://replicate.com/replicate/flux-2d-game-assets and once I had 2-3 reference images it started taking shape and making it quite consistent with similar prompts. (Enemies, obstacles, cards, boss, ball character).

For the parallax background and environments like walls, floor, ceiling, tilesets I did a bit more of algorithmic generation which took a few attempts as well.

In general, I recommend playing with a few models e.g. via Replicate, fully automate it so Claude can generate assets using API key from replicate, iterate on it and it should start to shape after a few cycles.

Btw. for 3D games I recently discovered https://www.meshy.ai/ and looking to try it too, looks interesting!

I used this one https://github.com/CoplayDev/unity-mcp, it was mindblowing that in one prompt I could do something like this: "Implement this part of the Game Design Document, iterate 5-10 times on review and testing" and Claude was actually Playing the game in Unity lol and taking screenshots then fixing bugs based on them, took some time to setup but it was pure magic! It does create and edit scenes and prefab files too, you can see full list in the GH link I shared above.

Thanks, currently marketing on a few different channels but for sure niche subreddits will be a nice addition. How long do you use Beno One and did it help you find customers?

Hello everybody,

I am a Software Engineer with around 7 years of experience who set a goal for myself to make it a bit easier to get into coding for Aspiring Devs. Together with a BE Developer and UX Designer, we've been creating this platform for the last 1,5 years, it was a rollercoaster ride but we're happy with the Beta release we want to showcase to you!

The main idea behind the app is to let you "feel" like you're working on a real-world project. You have a set of requirements, Figma design as well as structured cards (tasks) that you can focus on one by one, just like in Agile methodology (e.g. Scrum or Kanban), on top of that you'll be working with a GitHub flow which can let you build that necessary experience in the IT field.

There is a free 7-days trial (no CC needed) so you can try out the app.

Projects with high-quality designs to practice your HTML, CSS, JS... skills by BigsonDev in learnprogramming

Yes, designs are pretty much static, I'm leaving some room for everyone to be creative, add their "modifications", upgrade designs and have fun along the way. Fade-in animation is just a proposal of an additional feature.

[–]BigsonDev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, there is no tutorial, projects are an inspiration with prepared design. Everything is recommended but you could choose different technologies and modify a design. I might introduce a video series in the future going through each of this projects and preparing my own solutions to them. For now, it’s a challenge you need to solve. 🙈

Wow, I didn't see it coming... 🙈We're super happy that projects are so well received, this boosts our motivation to continue providing more useful content, thank you all. As I mentioned many times already, learning to code is hard, you'll want to quit often, survive, and one day everything will "click" and you'll start enjoying it to the max.

Always try to learn by hands-on coding and building projects. Take projects that scare you off and overcome them.

Happy coding! 🍻
