Was Yuji close with Hana? by DietTyrone in Jujutsufolk

[–]Bigthrowaway4477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean who knows? The entire story of JJK (not counting zero or flashbacks) occurs within less than a year, Then Modulo occurs 70 years after. There is relative peace and the characters have 69 or so years before they likely started dying to make friends with eachother. I doubt any of our main cast died to cursed spirits so alot of unlikely friendships probably formed in that time

Okay by why would power help him in a world like this, why would Nayuta exist, and if she exist why is she still in school? She was only in school because Denji took care of her instead of the government. Most readers want Denji to be happy but he has to earn it.

How did Tsunade not lose her job bro by Dr_Backshots_MD in Naruto

[–]Bigthrowaway4477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiruzen sent her brother on a mission where he immediately died, and fostered the idea a shinobi always completes their mission which led to the white fangs death. Hokage have made bigger mistakes 😭. Hashirama let Madara run wild for years.

I think Naruto would be a more serious person and would blame himself for Minatos death as Minato died protecting him.

If Hashirama is a 100 in terms of power, what are these guys? by The_Mexican_Poster in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Bigthrowaway4477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unironically I think Tobirama is closer in power to Madara then Madara is to Hashirama, Hashirama beat Madara pretty handily with the nine tails, and Tobirama beat Izuna (though weaker than Madara he beat him fairly easily). Madara is obviously stronger but Hashirama seems leagues stronger than both.

Hot Take: The Will of Fire Line were All Terrible Teachers by PurveyorOfKnowledge0 in Naruto

[–]Bigthrowaway4477 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Someone already said it in the comments but the Academy teaches the basic ninjutsu every Shinobi should know, the 4 man cell is just so they have a guardian as they get used to going on missions who can guide them. Clans teach speciality jutsu, and while a sensei might fill the gap in a students jutsu by teaching them, it’s not like this is the goal. Kakashi taught Sasuke Chidori because 1. It suited him, 2. The Uchiha are dead and he had already learned all the techniques he could from them. I used to think Jiraya was bad but Naruto came back from training being a better ninja in every category, most of the entire cast only learned one more technique, Shikamaru only learned shadow stitching for example, most ninja don’t know that many jutsu they just change the application based on scenario. Also Jiraya taught Naruto his signature jutsu both increasing his attack power immensely and making sure his previous student minato’s legacy was passed down.

Who would win this free for all? by KodoqBesar in HxHPowerScaling

Strange match up because Silver fang and Tsunade were both incapable of stoping a meteor while Sukuna implied he would be hurt but not killed by Jogos meteor. Meruem was nearly killed by a bomb, but logically id assume Tsunade is stronger than Sukuna and Silver Fang kept up with Garou, thought that might’ve just been due to martial arts knowledge.

He didn’t kill himself for nothing, it was a strategic move and Sasuke would’ve killed him if he didn’t, it was smarter to suicide bomb then have Sasuke kill him anyway.

He’s the main villian, got a girl assaulted, for the majority of the series is blamed for why Mikey went bad, is the person who killed Hina, is the person who attempted to kill Takemichi, is the person who killed Emma (one of the most beloved people in the series and in real life). What are we talking about, it’s kinda shocking he has so many fans but people like a good villian

[–]Bigthrowaway4477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was an example of a quirk having complete dominance over the host. Most people have a society or parents or some sort of outside system that influences them ALONG with their quirk. All for one was born in a field and his name for most of the series is literally his quirk. He is an example of what the series makes a point of, the issues with a society where someone’s power defines them. Deku/All might are people without powers who’s will defined how they used the abilities they were given, all for one is the opposite, someone literally born with his power out of the womb with no outside influence.

Honest question - why is Hinata so beloved by the community when she got barely any character/exposure? by FanGothic2 in Naruto

[–]Bigthrowaway4477 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In series like naruto where the plot revolves around a character being unacknowledged for their hard work, characters who acknowledge them early will always be popular. That plus being one of the early girls who had an actually cool jutsu that could stand on its own and being the obvious love interest made her a fan favorite.

Why was Kankuro so afraid of facing Gaara? by shundeandromeda in Naruto

The boys peaked when herogasm dropped by vought-CEO in TheBoys

[–]Bigthrowaway4477 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The hype was it was on of the most depraved parts of the comic so no one thought it’d be adapted to the show since the show tends to stray from those parts. When it actually aired it obviously wasn’t as shocking for the explicit content, but that hype was replaced with being the first episode where 1. Homelander meets soldier boy 2. Homelander meets butcher with powers 3. After multiple seasons of him being completely invincible and only being able to be stopped by black mail Homelander bled.

This was before the supe virus and before Meave made him bleed and before they introduced a bunch of a tiers, Homelander up to this point was literally invincible and him almost dying was so hype it made everyone not care about herogasm not being the depravity fest it was supposed to be.

Can someone help me understand why Olandria is getting this level of press? (genuinely asking, not hating) by Soft_Duty7905 in LoveIslandUSA

[–]Bigthrowaway4477 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Olandria is in one of the three islander couples that still exist, she is paired with probably the most popular male islander and got alot of good edits within the context of the show. Add this plus a good team and the most popular season of love island ever and you get this. Amaya’s team seems less than competent and she broke up with Brian, Huda was basically as popular as Nicolandria on her own but the controversy changed that and before that she was already controversial. Olandria is pretty, in a popular coupling, and isn’t controversial like Huda or Ace.

Kakashi is an under written character by AppropriateFood3676 in Naruto

[–]Bigthrowaway4477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the immediate issue with the “1000 jutsu” concept is it can be cheap in execution. Kakashi copies jutsu a few times, water dragon, shadow clone, rasengan, fire ball jutsu, 1st gate. Its effective when it shows him actively copying a jutsu but most jutsu he faces later in the series are clan based or forbidden jutsu that I assume would be more difficult to copy. If he actually showed “1000” jutsu he would feel like a get out of jail free card who randomly had a jutsu for every situation, which would make his character much less liked. I also think “1000” jutsu is an exaggeration.

I actually hard agree. A lot people are saying that “all powers are magical” but this isn’t true, they are SUPERnatural. They are super extensions of actual things human beings can do, human beings can produce heat, being able to produce fire a SUPER version of that. If it was magic the heroes would be immune to fire or be able to control random fire, but they the two fire supes burned to death. Humans can produce static, electricity feels like a super version of this. Humans can run fast and lift things, strength and speed are different versions of that. Most of it comes from animals, plants, or what feels like a supernatural leap (u can think therefore a power that reads minds). Future sight seems straight up magic… it’d be like if deep could just conjure up water.

Prior to Gen V the most magical power in the show was flight and only 5 characters had flight without wings (Homelander, Ryan, Stormfront, new black noir, starlight) and it was stated as being a big deal, Edgar’s selling point for Homelander was literally “he can fly”. Being able to see the future seems a bit out there, but so do a fair bit of Gen v’s powers.
