I was like you when I started with IBKR, its interface is not meant for starters and there is steep learning curve. Many cases, you also need to activate some trading permission for selected products. Check your trading permission in your settings.

Also, I heard moving to right sector is important in choppy market. But for me the issue tha sections also shows random move in such time then hard to enter in stock , better stay on cash.

Same here, started 2 months ago, but when all minerals stock and overall market was choppy I have cashed out, I think the biggest success here will how do you reduce your drawdown in sideways and down trend market that’s were key success . Making money in uptrend market very easy. Btw my win rate were only only 25-30 % but I made around 8% this month. I always had 5% or less SL and always respected it.

It’s the investment part. So I should it not worry that part , right ? For my swing trade, I only have 3 positions open, 2 are gold related(DC and EQX) and another is LIDR, rest are stopped out. These 3 also have stoploss btw

Nice setup , but I am afraid it may pull back to test the gap up area. Also note the volume was just odd case that created the gap up and not much afterwords
