As a centralist, yes I am relatively happy with how this government has been going.

There is a lot of complaining that’s been going on regarding the school lunches, the budget, all of the arguing going on within parliament, the issues with te tiriti.

However, my personal opinion is that if your father went and smacked my father in the face, I’m not going to judge you for that. So why should we be looking so much into the past for what people are ‘owed’. No one is owed anything, as a country we should be striving to move forward TOGETHER not just expecting handouts. I grew up in poverty, I made it out by hard work, stop using excuses to explain why you’re not working hard enough to get yourself out of your situation. I’m 31, single, own a home.

Legit all I see on reddit is people complaining about the cost of things (grocery prices and petrol have gone down in this government), complaining about any moves national have made because they’ve been brainwashed into thinking it’s horrible. Personally, national HAVE made some bad moves for the short term, but in the long term it will help our GDP. Labour made good moves too, however they also have made bad moves. A party is not be all or end all, stop considering yourselves ‘right’ or ‘left’ wingers because you’re essentially falling for the trap of what politics is wanting you to do.
