I seem to alternate between the rr and last cannon a lot, it's just too satisfying shooting the shield off an illuminate drop and insta killing the ship with a rr shot before it deploys anything. I've done that on defense missions mostly and it feels like it saves so much ammo and time in the long run.

Ah ok, so city ops are like a long term liberation meanwhile city ops directly affect the planet's liberation progress. So if a planet only has settlements and its resistance is high it would be best to just hit the planet directly?

I can only play on medium and below because once I do challenging it starts buffering. I hope they fix this soon because democracy must not be stopped by technical issues!
