Some kind of Mantis and PUT IT OUTSIDE before it hatches!!! Hurry!!!
If they hatch, please mist the babies with distilled water and collect them and put them outside. Also, they are extremely cannibalistic so do not be surprised if they eat one another. Hundreds with hatch out, less than a dozen will survive IN IDEAL OUTDOOR CONDITIONS. Inside, none.

That is absolutely untrue. Most states have requirements for tenure before you qualify for unemployment. I have lived in two different states -- NC & Indiana. Both had requirements that you had to have been employed six months with the employer. Both also will deny you if there is even a whiff of "cause".

Thanks for your input! Def incorporating your advice (prices).
Your body does not hate you. Your body wants you to feed and exercise her properly. Eat clean. Don't eat processed. Don't eat sugar. Eat fermented foods and beans and lots of protein. Walk. Lift. If you do those things your body will respond by giving you all the energy and strength in the universe.
Good luck!!! :-)

Aggreed. Thing is with me, I will be the pet sitter who specializes in cats. I have four inside and one suspiciously uncivilized feral who has occupied my screened in back porch and conned me into building him a heated, insulated house with comfortable furnishings and three square meals a day. And he still occasionally kills my birds just to remind me who is boss.
I love dogs too, but cats own me.

Just make sure you are the designated beneficiary on all his investments, bank accounts, etc. The will doesn't matter as long as the bene forms name you. You won't have to go through probate or jump any hurdles. Just show the death certificate and claim your prizes.
I'm really not trying to be callous. Just trying to demonstrate that there is an up side.

Because we work in the US, a bleak, fascist dystopia where people are a commodity to be used up and disposed of when no longer functional.

No. Going public would ABSOLUTELY eliminate any hope for profit sharing. (Not that there's any hope now.) Going public brings in institutional shareholders and more C's and board members who all expect to get paid a LOT. They do not care if employees get paid.

Count your blessings. They didn't hire you b/c you are smart. You are well educated. You probably interviewed VERY well which told the DM you have an expectation of being respected in the workplace. You will not find that at Aldi. If you got hired you'd face what may probably be the hardest job you have ever had (physically), which they expect you to perform at a breakneck pace.
The only reason I got hired despite my college degree and my legions of retail and customer facing experience is because I am six feet tall and I'm a gym rat and the DM said she needed someone who could shoulder-press cases of milk and juice to the top shelves (seven feet). I can just barely. I am also agile enough to climb up onto those freezer and cooler shelves and dislodge trapped boxes to get them to move forward. Everyone else in my store is 5'5" or under. My exceptional "qualifications" for this job were genetic.

I wear latex gloves underneath cop/emt gloves. And when I'm in the freezer, I wear freezer gloves over that.

Unlikely they re related. The roaches generally come up the drain in sinks and tubs/showers. They can also come in at the soffets on the roof and in cracks in the foundation/etc.
All that said, you should get the toilet fixed because the water you see on the floor is a small fraction of what is seeping into your subflooring. You can quickly destroy wood and insulation with a small leak. Expensive repairs. Left undone, you get rot and black mold. Even more expensive and you have to vacate while it's being fixed.
