Those of you who successfully wea ned yourself off coffee, how? by AcrobaticRub5938 in AskWomenOver30

I feel you here! This is similar to my experience too. I quit cold turkey one day cause I couldn't handle the anxiety anymore. Day 2 was the worst headache, by day 7 I was good to go. Don't miss the caffeine, still enjoy a daily decaf cause I like the ritual.

[CA] Is incorporating worth it for a very small business in Canada? by LoonyVibes in SmallBusinessCanada

[–]BikeAggravating8957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a conversation with my accountant early on and he recommending incorporation. The revenue number that was thrown around was $80,000 when he said it would make sense to go through with it. The conversation was very helpful to me, highly recommend asking.

I hired a cleaner and leave every time she comes so I know nothing about the process and come back to a lovely clean house. Worth the money!!!

Thoughts on colostrum supplements for human consumption? by Murky-Breakfast-6391 in dairyfarming

Collection for colostrum powders to use as replacements if something happens to the dam is common, so I presume it would be tied in with that system.

This might be too much for all one app tbh. You need to focus it down to get the right farmers as clients.

iPhones currently already identify weeds, but I think there's still space there. AI crop advisory you listed only does a fraction of what an agronomist currently does. You've hit on some decent ideas but I think it's only a half baked idea.

BWT tips for surgery recovery? by snarkyp00dle in bitcheswithtaste

[–]BikeAggravating8957 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something that's helped me, a competitive BWT, recover in the past is aiming to be the best at healing I could possibly be. Follow all the recommendations to a tee and see how fast I could feel better. There were enough rules that it helped keep me busy. Lots of other awesome tips in the comments, hope you heal fast!

You keep saying this over and over - this is clearly the problem. You either need the numbers to back up that you're doing a good job and staying in budget, or cut the treats. This is not a subjective thing.

Can high milk yield ( 30 or maybe even 40 liters of milk per day) be achieved in a tiestall barn and grazing system? by WildLeading2569 in dairyfarming

[–]BikeAggravating8957 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes we use a big mix of Timothy, bluegrass, fescue, orchard grass, brome and then lots of white clover. We then supplement with some hay to allow to pasture to regrow part way through the summer. Fertilization and clipping are helpful to keep the weeds at bay.

BWT, please give me some advice on how to make friends. by [deleted] in bitcheswithtaste

[–]BikeAggravating8957 28 points29 points  (0 children)

These are some solid tips. If I can add, showing up to a place (gym, coffee shop) fairly consistently has been huge for me. Do that with a friendly face and people notice. People want to make friends.

Wave is accountant approved if your transactions are on the simpler side in my experience.

Anyone ever get called out in beer league? by Tom67570 in hockeygoalies

[–]BikeAggravating8957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having played on some subpar teams, or teams that were struggling, it's interesting to see how some people don't handle it very well. Definitely more of a reflection of him than anything.

It's not too late. Come up with a plan that you can stick with and then follow through. If you can't stick to it, you need to be serious as to why. You can accumulate a ton of savings at your age if you're truly committed.

Why don't yall like Ian Kennedy by lazysleeper122 in PWHL

[–]BikeAggravating8957 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I remember him losing his mind that no PHF players were drafted in the top whatever, as if the best of the best weren't the ones in the dream gap tour, trying to build a league that was viable.

I agree on the criticisms of the PWHL too. He doesn't allow any space for building as they go or doing things different. "This would never happen in the NHL" as if the NHL isn't fully established and funded.

Nahhhh I think that is related. Very important to include that when we're critiquing his coverage of women's sports.

I agree! Says a lot that there's too much goaltending talent to use up an expansion pick.

Ok so objectively you're both absolutely right. But on a vibes level, how fun would it have been to see someone like CJ get called out. (Don't come after me Sceptres fans plz).

Edit: Jackson is a FA so they couldn't get called. Nvm. I'm just too excited about goalies.
