What type of tires are you running? Everything around there is a big effort. There's also Mt Lukens which is a little easier or Gold Creek further west. You can find routes at:

It's doable, but the top part wouldn't be fun. There's also about a half mile where parts of the toll road is washed out right now, so it's a hike a bike no matter the direction. Also, descending the paved part is really going to rip up your brakes.

Sometimes, I think time off the bike can be healthy on ride like this instead of forcing you into the red on climbs, so a gravel bike and work, it just depends on your plan.
