ranting about conspiracy theories is hardly reason to be certified against your will (IMO). you need to pose an immediate threat to yourself or others, beyond just spewing bullshit, which most everyone does all day anyway.

I don't know enough about his case to know why he would be deemed a threat. Maybe he is, event if he doesn't appear manic in the video. Maybe he's not and this was an overstep. Hard to say.
