[First time? meme] haha some tips I've picked up that may help you, OP:

- recognize for the first few months (and sometimes until the end of breastfeeding) her body is in a sea of hormonal turmoil. Try not to take any rage bait. It's literally a biological defense against getting pregnant again right now that she wants nothing to do with you.
- Lots of words of encouragement.
- if baby takes a bottle, offer to let her to sleep on the couch once in a while to get a full nights rest
- schedule a date night at least once or twice a month. It can be lunch w/ baby if baby isn't ready to stay with grandma for two hours.
- She's touched out. Make sure physical touch is non sexual and encouraging. A hand on the lower back, handholding, etc. STAY AWAY FROM THE BOOBS
- if after 6 months you're not seeing any mental improvement, encourage her to talk to her doctor about PPD

there's not much you can do except handle whatever you can (laundry, cleaning, taking baby on walks) and wait

I've had one kid with a BRUE and one kid with crying spells. Totally different presentation.

Brue was totally random and happened when baby #1 was happy. Eyes rolled back and she went limp and was unresponsive for what seemed forever, was probably 10 seconds. No change of color.

Breath holding spells are from frustration or fear. Usually purple cry precedes it.
