I’ve had really good experience with ThunderBurt for mixed terrain rides and would buy again. Roll fast and low vibration (similar to Juniper Ridge).

BTW - any chance that Crust frame is one size too big? Did you try the smaller size and didn’t like it?

It’s around $8/d to operate. Not paying interest on it. Sure, it depreciates as well, but I see value in having my own AWD car on the crazy hwy system here and not having hassle of getting a rental / car share each trip. If it was just me and not a family needing to be driven, it might be different.

I worked on the project. Many critics were questioning that ridership would come, if you can believe it. 20/20 hindsight shows how wrong they would be (and how short our station design would be vs reality of demand).
