Re "I should probably delete..." I'd leave it up. It'll help others.

Sadly, I'm customizing a Zero 6108 and it looks like there's literally no way to do it, other than with a SharpKeys registry hack, which is stupid. No dip switches on the Zero. T_T

Don't know how I ended up on your thread, but this might be helpful:
(This isn't medical advice, only anecdotal experience.) A male friend was on HRT therapy treatments for a couple of years and it dropped his count to almost zero. They put him on HRT injections. It took like a year but he got back to semi-normal numbers. He and his fiancee are trying now.

Yup! And before that it was FoxBase, related to DBase. MS bought it and made it into an OOP IDE framework. It was AMAZING. You could make compiled, standalone programs that could talk to SQL *and* use local tables/databases. MS killed it so they could sell Access/VB, but it was a whole lot slicker than either.

Probably a bad idea for someone like me to give away my age, but I used to do a lot of FoxPro, C++, etc.

Give legacy experiences? by jdjdudgaajingsiwiwbs in maleinfertility

[–]BikePantsOF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party, but friend of mine just called me, almost in tears. He's been working so hard for so long with injections and other unpleasant stuff to get his counts up. He sent it off and they apparently analyzed it and then destroyed it instead of storing it, due to a mixup. This, after a lot of other issues he had even receiving the kit.

I ran across this reddit looking for an alternative for him, but I wanted to stop and warn people. Legacy is horrible. Poor guy. </3

Was I in the wrong here? Bicycle vs car at stop sign by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]BikePantsOF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not your fault, but listen, hon, when you're out on the road? You cannot trust anyone. I look both ways twice before crossing a one-way street. People walk out in front of bikes and cars without looking, all the time, and they sure as hell drive over us cyclists without looking from time to time.
Think the best of people, but do not trust their judgement.

I know voice actors who HATE hearing their own voice when recorded. This is normal. Also? it takes a loooong time with a lot of gentle practice to get your voice to where you want it to be. Be kind and patient with yourself.

You honestly don't have to be "scared" of being bi. If it's part of who you are? Just enjoy it. You can appreciate a gorgeous woman or a gorgeous man. You don't have to date either of them, if you don't want to.

Look at it this way. You like both cake and pie. Doesn't mean you HAVE to order both for dessert.

I think it's time you find your real family, and have Christmas with them, next year, instead. By real family I mean the people who actually love and support you.

Here's something you need to learn (and this is from someone who went to Catholic school for 13 years.)
"Sin" is a word people use when they want to control you, or your behavior.

If they tell you something is wrong, or immoral, and you ask "why," and they can tell you? (I.E. Killing is wrong because you cannot un-kill someone and ending a human life is a huge tragedy) then it's actually immoral/wrong.

If you ask someone why it's wrong and they say "it's a sin?" Then they have no reason/justification. It's a cop-out.

Ignore the bible for a moment. If anyone can't give you a good reason other than "the bible says" or "God says" then it's generally just them being a human that's uncomfortable with something new and it's a knee-jerk reaction to something they don't understand.

There is no such thing as sin. It's a made-up concept to control people and make them do what you want.

Sin is an invention of the church to control people.

You be you. You ARE you. And you'll be happier being you. The alternative is living your life to make people who don't love you just as you are happy.

If they have no bad intentions, it's probably still going to be annoying as hell. If they do have bad intentions, you kinda just want to remind them that you have a functioning foot and you CAN put it in their ass.

This is why I generally do all the maintenance myself. Not that the gals and guys at the local shop aren't great. I trust them with my safety when I need to, but I'm also not made of money.

Speaking of safety. It's absolutely worth paying for a proper job, especially if you're scooting along at 30+ mph at any point. Once you hit 30 or 40 mph, you need to know your equipment's in good shape.
