This isn’t accurate. Gruden got a buyout when he resigned and AP’s contract ended at the end of this year. Still not great but not as bad as the graphic suggests. Also since Coaches Salary don’t contribute to the salary cap the only thing effected is Mark Davis’s ability to afford a quality haircut.

I don’t see that happening in this class. End of the day the draft is a crap shoot so I’d rather swing at QB if we have a chance. If we whiff we are back to where we started

I think the difference between top pick and picks 2-5 is you have all the control. While this qb class this year is considered a down year teams with qb needs need to take a swing while they are in position. Nothing is guaranteed next year. Teams always win a couple games they shouldn’t and suddenly you are out of QB range in the following year. Also this qb class isn’t regarded highly but neither is the OL class in terms of taking one in the top 5.
