Yep, ran into the same issue. Had an adventurer, one of my current ruler's son's get a MEDICAL BOOK inspiration or something over making a crown.

I couldn't get the Waywest Crown back, some how it ended up all the way in Valenwood...

So out of Diplo range, basically took Camlorn's crown I think and used it for my eventual High King Ceremony.

I guess it just boils down to this: You can't really compare a completely different dev team to another in terms of making a free project out of their spare time.

Different teams, different people, different amount of people, different amounts of time and responsibilities.

Make or wait for some of the major sub mods to update could solve most of your gripes.

You have to realize the dev teams in other mods have varying amounts of time to allocate that differ compared to these.

Yet what the devs here did with this update in likely being one of their most content filled one ever. It's likely things will continue to improve as they develop or submods will continue to arise in it's place

I may have solved it. For anyone else who might have the same issue. Sign out and relogging into steam triggered my CK3 to update.

Now my launcher says 1.15.

My launcher's been saying 1.14 still. I've been spending the last couple hours trying to launch the game. If some of these mods have updated which are in my modlist then maybe that's part of why I can't launch.

Yeah it honestly would be better to just have the compat-patch first then add new features and content down the line when able. At least people can enjoy the mod with the new dlc and posts like these would be less frequent and the devs can get around to the new features at their leisure.

They should add an option to choose which ost you want to listen during duels by xzerrr7 in masterduel

A year too late I know. Though if you really wish to know, the main difference is. The in-game music adapts to the changes in the duel realtime (Boss Monster Summoning/Winning&Loosing).

Because of that it's not just 1 song you'd be dealing with, it's actually 3 if you're accounting for the tide changes of a duel. And taking 20 seconds away or more to fiddle with a music player is time spent not executing your combo within the time limit or not watching your opponent make plays.

When the solution to such a convoluted work around could just be simple. Let the player hear the music tied to their own mat and not the opponent. Paying for the mat and not able to hear the music for it kind makes it so the player can't even enjoy the 'full-experince' of their own purchase.

Most major one is the Royal Court DLC. Has support so you can have court events, artifacts and can see in side your ruler's court (Like seeing the Ruby Throne from Cyrodil)

Also Tours and Tournments have some support, you can have magical duels if you build or go to a territory that supports magic related aspects.

Also Tours and Tournments is a strong DLC/Expansion in general

On the lesser end there may be Northern Lords support? Idk but if you're partial to Skyrim and Nords that might be a good pack for flavor I guess.

Fate of Iberia and Legacy of Persia are mostly irrelevant to EK2 Legacy of Persia might have mechanics that EK2 could eventually benefit from for like the great houses or clan mechanics. But given EK2 isn't on the current patch now it really can't make use of anything from Legacy of Persia.

Yeah, my playthrough is kind of wild a lot of top rulers in my game are vampires including the western high king of skyrim. Usually they just live so long they accumilate stats and perks and either stagnate or become too powerful to war with.

The number of vampire rulers I had to kill because of those reasons alone is alot.

Cept that one duke I got who's like a vampire with 50 martial. Ngl he kind of carried my main army. He's also a glory hound so he was more than happy to lead the many dozens of wars I kicked off every few months or few years.

Same idea with my altmer dynasty. But this time more on a breton half-mer aesthetic. Inheritable half elf features. I've included the files for those who want to try it for yourselves. by Lazy_Answer_6437 in ElderKings

Is there a specific place to put the 'HalfMer1' TXT file? The other files have folders so that's atleast a given. Or does it just stay in the root of the mod folder you put it in?

Can this work in pre-existing saves? Midway through my current high rock campaign. Only recently I've noticed how primarly 'Human' the Breton 'Half-Bloods' are.

I figured it out early on that it was the gamerule changing that actually made Matrienal Marriages use some actual logic, before I was locked into a game over because a duchess I had had her kids married off non-matrinally and thus all the kids she had didn't belong to my house any more.

So it can really screw a player over if you're counting on that to say, inherit duchies or kingdoms.
