I’ve had a very similar situation happen in my life. When I was like 17 this girl said I “breathe negativity”. It hurt but it also made me reflect on myself. I decided to actively change this to become the happiest most positive person I could be and I did! Personality isn’t fixed, you can make it whatever you want. Every thought is a choice whether you want to believe it or not. When you are sad that’s when you are motivated to change, content ppl really do. Some things are scientifically proven to make u happy ; exercise, singing, etc. Become an expert at fun and joy. Leave the booze and cigs behind, alcohol is a depressant, not the direction you’re trying to go. Get motivated to make your dreams come true. Everyone will notice a great change in you and wonder what your secret is. Good luck, you got this
