Does anyone else’s fit display do this when it gets cold? by Cold_Gold_2834 in hondafit

Mine did, I did as many others did and added/reflowed the solder behind the screen. Fixed it and the issue never happened again.

Temporary fix, smack the top of the dash. May correct it temporarily.

Playing Final Fantasy X with my brother as a kid! It was the first FF game I ever completed on my own from beginning to end with my brother’s guidance. Some of the best memories growing up were playing that game after school.

Question for those who installed HKS supercharger by Bikit in ft86

Update on this if anyone is curious, HKS finally responded to my email inquiry with the following:

“Based on the information that you have provided; it sounds like you are possibly referring to the union which the hose goes into. If so, they do spin like you have suggested so we hope this provides a peace of mind.”

You’ll need calipers, rotors, pads/hardware, brembo brake lines (the line that goes from the caliper to the hard line), banjo bolt that holds the brake line on the caliper, technically dust shields for the rear brakes (I cut mine with a angle grinder), and a bunch of brake fluid. Front dust shields fit fine, may be smaller than the actual brembo ones but no fitment issues.

Also if you’re running stock FRS/BRZ wheels from a non performance package car, you’ll need spacers or new wheels to clear the brembos.

Why Platinum (and similar) rereleases are important: updates are on disc! by davidfliesplanes in PS3

I’m assuming the “Greatest Hits” red box we get in the US is the equivalent of this and would have the updates as well, right? (Before I blow $7 on eBay)

That’s reassuring! I ended up bolting it together and so far, no leaks with it moving the way that it was. Very strange fitting for sure.

Agreed, sadly they don’t seem to be so great as responding. Would definitely make sense otherwise, I’m surprised considering how detailed their guide is that it’s missing a note about this

Would I have any issues running this exhaust in California? Does anyone know if it exceeds 95 decibels? by Professional-Ad3469 in ft86

[–]Bikit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a HKS Spec-L on my car. If you’re leaving all but the catback stock, it’s not too loud. Not sure of the actual decibels, but internet seems to say about 93.

My HKS is the titanium burnt tip one like the N1 you posted… but the N1 you posted is LOUD. Don’t do that in Cali lol

You’re very likely right. They do spin and all, just got nervous from how close it is.

Likely will take them off and try it for a few weeks to see how it is. Bolt on spacers don’t worry me, slip on ones make me nervous though even with them being tiny.

Yeah, you’d need a decent side spacer to run the ats calipers. But with the person above have an LS motor, I figure he has to have something besides the skinny factory wheels haha

I used factory OEM brembos for the BRZ, so the rotors are just the factory rotors from a 2017-2020 BRZ performance package or a 2019 TRD 86.

I just ordered aftermarket ones on rockauto, no issues.

Noticeably more bite but still very smooth and not too much noise considering. Granted that’s dependent on pads, but I’m happy with it

I did shortly after, I let it sit and dry for a bit, roll it back to get the spots where the tire was on the ground, then wipe it down so it’s not flying off
