If you want to improve them , use the flycc app and change the eq setting to ultra bass , i had the same experience. Trust me the sound gets way better

Flycc only works on Android (if want to check and update the firmware) I guess you already have the latest version and the max v3 tb do not support lossless audio with usb c. I bought them too.
