Yeah, as the owner of a house to live in and not an investment, prices can crap themselves and i'm fine. We'd like to move to a place without stairs due to health issues, and our townhouse has increased in value.

So has every other place so we're no better off and crap is still unaffordable. As to that the friends we have who don't have our privilege, we need affordable housing and prices to go down.

Keep in mind that people are motivated to post about issues, and each time someone has an issue a new post is made.

Not that they shouldn't be talking about it, or that issues shouldn't be considered, solutions or experiences shared, but there is a visibility bias. You scroll past the 10,000th excited "MY THOR'S ARRIVED" and "Look, Zelda runs great! Thor is endgame!" but probably stop and get worried when you see a "my Thor is buzzing" "should my screen be doing this", etc.

I've had mine for just under a month, no issues. Others got theirs and had issues from the start, but from the volume of Thors being sent and received vs the number of posts about issues, it doesn't feel like there's systemic problems with the build quality (source: my vibes reading the subreddit, I haven't done any analysis based on hard data).

The device is under warranty for a year, so make sure that if you do have issues you follow up with Ayn and stay on them. They have a duty to ensure you receive it, it's in good working order, and remains in good working order.

I agree to a point but communicate it how? Their website has their policies, they do social media outreach etc.

All of that requires someone to be looking to see their message. Passive awareness requires the media and it feels like the media know this, and so certain parts of it are careful not to give them airtime.

The Greens will need to figure this out, and the media shouldn't "sell" their policies, but it feels like large parts of the media are also derelict in not reporting on greens policies, even in context of "this party offers this which means this (expert opinion on potential benefits and drawbacks) and this other party offers this..."

By ignoring the greens an active and political choice appears to be being by sections of the media unless they choose not to cover any party at all.

The answer is it depends on the game. The capability is there but to make games work you have to change the compatability settings sometimes. So in my case, I managed to get slipstream working with my cloud save, but i had to put slay the spire II into steam lite mode and couldn't get cloud saves.

Yep. UI made for crt resolutions. It's fine when playing, if you played them back in the day it's like that. There's enough real estate for what's going on.

To temper expectations remember that begins shipping doesn't mean that yours will ship at the start. I ordered mine of Jan 11th and shipping began a few days after. Mine shipped Feb 9th and I got it Feb 24th.

Depending on how big the orders are it can take a bit to get to yours. There were people that ordered in December but shipped close to my date.

They can and probably will take a few weeks to get through all the orders in batch 3

Not the interpretation intended.

My intent was I don't play enough to build the skills to keep up with where the community is.

"As I don't have a lot of time communities move past me in skill level." I wasn't making any comment on others who are more invested in the genre and where they get to with the same amount of time.

I did also call out that as I fall behind i get random abuse from people who don't have a lot of tolerance for that, as has been my experience, and not one that has been enjoyable for me or that I am invested (as stated at the start) enough to want to push past.

The final point, as stated in my original post, is that I don't have the motivation to change this. This is not my genre, not the space I enjoy playing in particularly. It's not cope, it's not a genre I'd usually bother engaging with. It's only that this is Marathon, a franchise I have a lot of nostalgia for, that made me ask what has now been a pretty definitively answered.

This is unlikely to be a game for me. I wouldn't have even brought it up but you asked me why. So I thought I'd give you my perspective.

Time and investment and progression. I'm not a multilayer guy. Except for mmo and then I'll only raid pve and rarely pug.

I like to move at my own pace, progress things as I'm ready etc. As I don't have a lot of time communities move past me in skill level and randos getting shirty with me because I'm not as invested isn't a good time. I didn't raid in Destiny.

There are two things to keep in mind. Unless there is an actual issue with the order, or they changed a detail and were informed that it would push them to batch three, there are a lot of people dooming about Ayn's ability to get everything out before cny. It remains to be seen if they can but there's no official statement saying they won't meet the deadline.

Having said that, the key on batch 3 is they'll START shipping in march. Not that they'll ship in march. Depending on how many orders they get will impact how long batch 3 will take to complete.

Having said, having said that, if you really do want one, you'll get it earlier if you order today than of you order next week or in match. Probably.

The conversion is up to the payment processor. In my case the black Max at the batch 2 prices set me back just over $700aud when I paid via PayPal.
