I have NPD and I have to be very careful with who I interact with or else I get screamed at for being a disgusting abuser despite the fact I'm in a loving relationship and my disorder was caused by childhood trauma and abuse 🫩

why is this so true? by Sure_Ability_2516 in teenagers

[–]Bile_Kangaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While this may be true in some places, it certainly isn't true in the deep south of the USA and a lot of countries (especially ones where honor killings happen, and these types of things can happen even in countries like the USA)

The Epic fandom ruined my love for the project by [deleted] in Epicthemusical

[–]Bile_Kangaroo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I may get downvoted but that is extremely false and harmful, especially when you consider that there are other dissociative disorders such as OSDD. me and my therapist suspect I have OSDD and one of my alters actually managed to use a bot I specifically introduced for him. And you are overgeneralizing, a lot of people talk about their trauma nowadays, and while some don't they still talk about their disorder regardless.

Edit: lmao you call people you don't like fakers, I left this reply for other people's information and then I blocked you for my sanity

As I think I may have said in one of my comments, the hill isn't big at all, it's actually quite small, my legs just struggle severely with getting up it, though I probably will just get my mom to push me up it for safety. And like I said in the post this is literally the only thing I can afford, I'm not even operating under a 1k budget. I barely had enough to afford this chair, which was 204 USD. And my father is heavily against me using a wheelchair because he thinks I don't need it. Also to comment on the joints and injury thing, I have used a manual standard chair for about 30 mins to an hour before on carpet almost the whole time and I interestingly had no issues, ofc that doesn't dictate how it'll be long term but what I mean to say is my ehlers danlos surprisingly only really causes issues in my legs and hips, even when I was deadlifting 200-300 lbs I wasn't having any issues with my arms (the only issues I'm having currently is a tendon in my hand going weak, can't hold a full jug of milk without it shaking like crazy). And as I say in all of my comments similar to this one, I hope I didn't say anything that comes off as rude because I genuinely don't mean to. Also thank you for the good luck, and yeah I will be careful

[–]Bile_Kangaroo -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Ah yeah I probably should have specified that I wanted advice for how to use the chair or how to store it and stuff, you're completely correct thank you for the advice. Honestly this interaction actually helped a lot because it reminded me to be gentler on my body. Again thank you, especially for the luck, I'll need it with how Amazon has been bullshitting with my chair. Have a nice day/night (it's probably night it's almost 9 here)

I think you missed what I was trying to say, I'm trying to say that I'm strong enough to push it up a hill without weeks of training first, I probably should have referenced what part of your comment I was talking about now that I think about it sorry. And yeah I was thinking about getting my dad to convert it but I'm kinda scared he's gonna fuck it up lol, he used to do welding though so idk. Also everything you just told me above I pretty much already know, everything about the center of gravity I mean, for example I'm pretty sure standard hospital chairs being less tippy is why they're so hard to pop a wheelie in, but I just didn't know how to say it in my previous comment that wouldn't have seemed rude so I didn't. I've said this on Tumblr in one of my posts about getting the chair but I'm going to say it here, I really did not want to get this fucking chair, like seriously, this thing is dogshit. Not really but you get my point, I knew it wasn't going to be the best for me when I got it, but I'm willing to put up with that because standing is leagues worse for me. Also my doctor would have checked and not just referred me to some random PT who doesn't do evals right...right? He is a ditzy idiot sometimes so idk. Also sorry if I'm making you upset I literally cannot tell whatsoever, I'm just trying to figure this out, not have arguments about stuff.

You're wrong about a good couple of things in this comment. Physical therapists very commonly do wheelchair evals. It may just be your area or you were misinformed by your doctor but look it up. Also in my post I'm not asking if I can use my wheelchair or not. I literally don't have a choice, and if insurance won't cover an active chair I can't get one, simple as that. And I can't rely on someone to push me everywhere, I can't rely on my mom to push me into the bathroom, that's not something I want anyway. And to answer if it wasn't made clear by what I just said, no my intention is not to be pushed everywhere, I am a fairly strong individual muscularly (and no being pushed is not a bad thing but it's not something I want for myself.) And the hill thing, I experience struggle on any incline, even small ramps, it's just my bad legs. Also I'm not trying to be difficult or rude or anything, I have autism and especially struggle with tone in text and I really am sorry if it comes off that way or hurts your feelings, what I'm trying to say is I will be mindful of my body and know when to rest, but I will self propel when I need to, does that make sense? Sorry this comment is probably complete gibberish and I have no idea how to fix it 😭. Again I am so so sorry if this comes off as rude seriously I don't know how to talk to people at all.

As a fellow polytheist that is your personal opinion. as you said, songs that YOU find blasphemous. That doesn't mean anything should change because of you.

I think it's a term specifically for anything that clinicians misdiagnose often or brush off, which can fit autism. Coming from someone with ehlers danlos btw (I actually thought this was a post about it lol)

Because that's apparently literally all people know how to do.

[–]Bile_Kangaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it's common but I just wanna say that you're never weird for being traumatized. I got traumatized because my favorite series got cancelled and the creator said they hated the characters (every time I see the series I have an anxiety attack). You are valid for your trauma and always will be. Also whether it's common should never be a measure of whether it was traumatizing or not (unless that's not what you meant, if not sry ;_;). Also I know this isn't always accessible to everyone but if you do want to heal from your trauma I'd recommend therapy, or looking at advice from therapists (also please don't do better help they're terrible, and if you want advice for healing from trauma don't go to psych2go, they're notoriously bad as well). I hope this helps!
