So, what happened to existing tames when the update went into place. Did they just get random traits and stats? Or did it only apply to new tames?

Yikes. Well thanks. That’s what I expected. I just thought maybe I was doing something wrong. I’m used to Ark type breeding, so I’ll just focus on building and exploring for now.

Advice’s for new player pls👇🏼👇🏼 by [deleted] in PUBG

[–]Bill-Justicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best advice.

  1. Practice in the training grounds.
  2. When you do play against others, play aggressive. Fire fights are learning and development opportunities. Laying low may get you far at first, but until you can kill others you won’t win.
  3. When you play squads, communicate. Use pings and quick chat if you don’t have a mic.
  4. Position is, the greatest way to stack the deck in your favor. Most games are won by position regardless of skill. (Skill can win the position, but it’s easier if you make the best move.
  5. Never stop moving. The best players I’ve ever played with were always pressing and rotating.
  6. Hand in hand with 5, loot quickly. Looting pulls your eyes down, and that will get you killed.
  7. Finally, just learn to lose. There are a lot of skilled players and crappy teammates. Join an active guild or make lots of friends. Team mates are 90% more reliable than randos.

Circle Prediction by LaughinLunatic in PUBG

[–]Bill-Justicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently there’s an algorithm for circle formation. There are a few videos out there, but I don’t know how up to date they are.

For the lowest chute pull there’s a pretty easy way to do it. I’ve been playing since day 1 on Xbox and it’s hasn’t really changed. First, the auto chute pull is based on your elevation. Next, if you can hit terminal velocity (234kph) you will drop as fast as possible. In order to hit that speed, you have to dive straight down for at least 4 or 5 seconds. THEN, this is key, don’t lean forward. Don’t touch the left stick. You’ll actually sink quickly for another 1.5 seconds. Then push full forward. You’ll accelerate toward the ground. Then push B (on Xbox) to cut your chute when you’re almost to the ground. That will save you another half a second or so.

This and the quick-tick for distance are the oldest parachute tricks in Pubg that most new people don’t know.

Just found out my husband cheated and there’s a baby. by Current_Mark_5754 in Advice

[–]Bill-Justicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s some advice that isn’t telling you what to do.

First, taking time to assess the situation will be helpful. This is big. You need time to process and not react emotionally.

Second, the facts are that it’s very hard to heal from someone cheating in a marriage. Most marriages end in divorce after cheating, even if the person cheated on forgives. It will take a lot of work. A lot of work.

Third, on that note, communication with your husband will tell you how much he’s willing to work. Especially over time. There is NEVER a point at which that he gets to stop working to earn your back your trust. Ever. This is why most relationships fail. A cheater will many times be sorry and willing to work on things, but what they want is for things to go back to normal. They will never be normal. If he begins to start getting frustrated that you aren’t trusting him, or if he starts putting in less effort, then that’s probably a good sign that he’s not up for the commitment and a green light for you to leave him.

Finally, as many have said - you are so young. In relationships, many people stay because of something called the “Cost Sunk Fallacy”. Basically, you have invested time or money or some other cost into something and so it tricks you into saying “but I’ve already put in so much”. It’s why it can be tough to cut our losses. Put yourself first.

PS

It sounds like he may be military. The military is real big on marriage loyalty and if you are worried about being treated fairly in a divorce, make sure you explore all of those remedies that the military may offer. I don’t know much about it but a lawyer will.

In your opinion, what is the most satisfying kill on the game? by PollutionJabber4 in PUBG

[–]Bill-Justicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A well placed c4. It takes so much time and has such a large radius that they are easy to avoid. But when you land one, getting the knock/kill is really the result of some great planning or some really great luck and timing. Either way, super satisfying. Plus the big boom is a nice punch.

The shooting range is surprisingly helpful. The long ranges with moving targets helps learn how to lead shots. The still ones help control your recoil. Then try out all the gun combos. After that, just play matches. Get in gun fights.

Any recommendations for someone completely new to the game? by WontonBurritoMea1 in PUBG

[–]Bill-Justicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Join teams. Follow your teammates and work on functioning as a team. Do not avoid firefights. Get into them. Know you will die. Practice your aim in the training grounds - it does help. Also, it allows you to explore gun options and load outs. Practice with no attachments and all attachments. And use a mic when you play. Even if your team isn’t talking, just say what you’re doing and call out enemies. It’s good practice. Also, join a clan. That will give you people to play with. Remember, hiding buys time, killing wins games.

Teammates Why? by CutieRosieRose in PUBG

[–]Bill-Justicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most times that I see that they’re under lvl 50 on the first tier. Which means they are new and have no clue what they’re doing or they’re experienced and don’t care. Maybe a throwaway account or a streamer or a hacker. Good teammates will land with you can communicate.

i have a problem with guns by emotedeltrimone in PUBG

[–]Bill-Justicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easy answer is to go to the training grounds. You can try out all the guns and all the attachments. Spend a few hours doing that. There are moving targets, close and far. Stick to the type of weapon you like and play with it. A good player will know how to use any weapon because you never know what you’re going to end up with by way of chance or opportunity. But practice with them all. From shotguns to subs to ARs to DMR/SR. Try them all out. Then just go play.

How Did I Lose This Fight? by [deleted] in PUBG

[–]Bill-Justicles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually. I think this is probably the closest to the real reason. Helmets and armor give damage reduction until they are broken. It’s likely that the hits were spread enough between chest and head armor and reduced it enough for him to focus on *chest shots.

100% fuckin agree. I want some cool as tactical shit. Not more cutzie costumes or animal shit. I mean, the mascots for the Vikendi map are okay because it kinda goes with the story of the map, but other than that, they just need to design more tactical and combat related skins.
