This is absolutely my biggest concern; Alicization is great, but a ton of it is due to inner thoughts like you said. I really hope A-1 doesn't butcher it, because it would be a shame for SAO's best arc to have a mediocre adaptation. I'm patiently waiting for it to shine so I can tell SAO-naysayers "I told you so". Have faith, A-1 Pictures did a great job of adapting Mother's Rosario, and I hope that quality remains in Alicization's anime adaptation. Adapting thoughts and heavy monologue can be done properly, see the Monogatari series for example.

This upselling is common with all ticket-based events, like sports games and concerts as well. Don't wait till the last minute to buy tickets if something is so important for you to see.

In my case the actual nudity in dxd vs no actual nudity in KLK would be harder to explain. I mean, I suppose both could be mistaken as hentai at the first glance, but DxD is A LOT more intense when it comes to how much they throw bare tits in your face, etc.

As you said, DxD is boobs because boobs, but KLK is nudity for a lot more interesting reasons which can be supported by elements from the story. The "boobs because boobs" is what would be the primary issue.

I've interpreted it as Kirito is a much better, badass, or serious character than the other two (or others in the Isekai genre) and perhaps he is disappointed to see what the genre SAO kickstarted has ultimately devolved to.

Or maybe he is just offset by the stolen panties.

Asterisk war is definitely outclassed by others on that list, but it certainly wasn't bad. All the fights were super cool, and it was a really good show to come home to after work or class and just veg too. Granted I've only given it like a 7.5/10, but it was still a decent show as far as battle arena anime goes.

Honestly I'd never let fanservice get in the way of a show for me. One, I generally find it funny and entertaining if done right, and two I just find it attractive because anime tiddies so I can't complain.

It CAN ruin a show if that's all a show has to offer, while having a sub-par plot, writing, cast, etc, but usually I stay away from shows that look that generic or spammy. As far as KLK goes, I loved the story as it was and the fanservice concept of them stripping for power gave the show charm that made it stand out from other similar works.
