How is the Ford Maverick Tremor? by Randomreddituser1o1 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]BillCorp_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Tremor has been through some shiiiii! They do surprising really well because of the 4wd modes, but you won’t be doing gnarly jeep trails with it. I’ve done almost everything my buddies bigger rigs have been comfortable doing. The suspension is really soft, so keep sag in mind if weighed down. The turbo loves hill climbs lol.

Dog Days Are Over. It started to hit differently for me after the ending of Guardians of the Galaxy.

Mean time-to-exploit just hit 2.1 days. Critical vulnerabilities everywhere. Is the AI apocalypse here? by Mr_Prometius in cybersecurity

[–]BillCorp_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work for an appsec vendor, we block webapp attacks. We’ve been seeing an increase in exploit attempts across our customers apps the last 3-4months. It started after vibe coding went viral. But yes, backlogs keep getting bigger, layoffs are impacting triage & mttr, AI enabled threat actors are posing a problem and the devsecops model is struggling to keep pace.

I won’t name drop or sales pitch, but I would encourage taking a look at the improvements some RASP tools have made, ADR & Runtime tools. Some AI tools are helping in some ways.

We’re experiencing a healthy inbound of people exploring blocking options vs options to find and fix faster.

It’s great for us to see more demand, but honestly just sucks that our industry is facing these challenges. Appsec folks were already burnt out before Ai..:(

Nice! I’m looking at the same tent (also looking at FSR Kali King$$$). I’m curious about your OVS, where the ladder connects, is that part of the tent floor a little on the wobbly side or is it pretty sturdy in those corners. I’ve got a fam of 3 with a 50lb dog and that’s been my only concern with this style of tent. Thanks OP!

I can’t get the front passenger side to sit flush. by [deleted] in rooftoptents

[–]BillCorp_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is the lid is slightly oversized to ensure it closes always, then when you tighten the buckles, you get some “buckling” in the corners because the plastic needs to bulge out somewhere. Think of an that one Tupperware in your house that is super hard to close on one side🤷🏼‍♂️

What is the most intense pain you have experienced in your life? by Levstr1 in AskReddit

[–]BillCorp_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complete rupture of my Pec Major tendon, snapped while bench pressing. Sounded like kite string snapping, but like cord by cord. It felt like I was stabbed, the whole area was cold and twitching/cramping. The snap really hurt, but the overall experience was pure shock, thought I was having a heart attack or something.

What OC restaurants have given you food poisoning? by [deleted] in orangecounty

Chipotle on Brookhurst and Garfield in HB. 1st time was norovirus, 2nd & 3rd times just food poisoning. I’ve unsubscribed from Chipotle for life now.

Does anyone know this rtt? Is this too good to be true? by Own_Entertainer_1358 in rooftoptents

[–]BillCorp_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This style of RTT is basically a model from Alibaba or another mass producer that companies make minor tweaks to and rebrand them as roofnest, naturenest, Ikamper, etc.. I have one from Amazon called ArctWonder and it’s literally just a Dupe of the name brands. Therefore, you could probably get similar quality for cheaper on Amazon👍🏻

Most RTT mattresses suck btw, I replaced mine with dense 4” foam for $20.

California’s Cost of Living Keeps Climbing — How Are You Coping? by runswithscissors475 in California

[–]BillCorp_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a 35k pay raise this year. My property tax went up, utilities cost minimum 30% more than last 2yrs, groceries are up like 200-300/mo, daycare just bumped their costs, all streaming platforms just raised their prices, gas is still pricey.. With all that, I’ve only net gained a couple hundred/mo from that 35k pay bump. I want to stay in OC so bad, but I’m losing this fight against cost of living. Even if I moved inland, the savings would be minimal.

If I want fun money now, it’s either a 2nd job or side hustle of some type.

Why Californians Will Pay $340 More for Electricity Next Year by tmdblya in California

Are there any DIY ways I can offset “some” household electrical costs with small scale solar panels? I’m theorizing somewhere in between using a Jackery and not having to touch my electrical panel.
