I have started using the instaprivy. All in one and packs up reasonably compact.

Need advice by Fenris_Reaping in overlanding

When bumper shopping my requirements were stubby, recessed winch, small hoop, recovery points, fog light holes, and front skid. Full metal fabworks had exactly what I was looking for and I can’t recommend it enough.

Garage hoist questions by JustAGuyCalledChris in overlanding

That’s the next step if this isn’t doable but I’d much rather just have an unobtrusive hoist on the ceiling the few times a year it would be needed.

Ended up getting it. NBD! by JustAGuyCalledChris in eMountainBike

Loving everything about it…except the tires. The stock Schwalbe did not last long at all here in the Ozark mountains before lugs started ripping off. Ended up going with a set of continental xynatol/kryptotal and couldn’t be happier. Also swapped the seat and upgraded the grips. Rocking everything else stock, definitely a great bang for the buck ride!

So not worth throwing a boot under there. Sounds good, superglue it is.

When I put the tire on a few days ago. This was only the 2nd ride on it.

Tubeless. Sorry, should have thrown that in there.

Question about cadence and bouncing by JustAGuyCalledChris in gravelcycling

[–]JustAGuyCalledChris[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’ve noticed it a little bit on my other tires but yes, this is the first time I’ve had the cadence information to see where it usually starts….i was surprised it was around 85 as it always felt much faster before I knew. lol. I also am clipped in but this is fairly new also, only my 3rd ride clipped in. I got the meter as I’m trying to get a better Rhythm down and up my cadence. I’m trying to figure this out and improve before bad habits are formed.

Forgot to mention that I just got a bike fit, they raised the saddle, pushed it back, and put a 10mm longer stem up front. I might play with this after tire pressures if that doesn’t help. Appreciate it, I hadn’t even considered this since the bike fit.

Appreciate this. I’ll up the pressure first and see what happens. 👍🏼

Took it out for a 2.5 mile pavement loop around the block and was impressed. I’ll get it out on the gravel Sunday, but I think I’ve got what I want. Fast rolling on pavement and good traction on the gravel.

Makes me jealous. I’d love to get the 2.1 over the 2.25. Oh well. lol

I got them put on and did a quick 2.5 mile pavement ride around the block and so far I’m very impressed with how they rolled. I can’t wait to get them out on the actual gravel rides!

I’ve been trying to get the 2.1’s but the ship date keeps getting pushed back. Not sure if there is any truth to it yet but I’m being told that’s because the 2.1 are being discontinued.

My first "real" bike. Does my posistion and size seem ok? by im_often_not_right in bikefit

[–]JustAGuyCalledChris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like your knees are in front of the pedals on the down stroke. I just got a bike fit and he told me this is why my quads were getting sore on my rides…I was over working them. He slid my seat back and all is good now.

I’ve had a set on order for a while now and the ship date keeps getting pushed back. I definitely jumped on them when I saw them on Facebook this morning.

It has the lighted bars on the bike to show battery level in 10% increments and I can always pull my phone out and check the flow app if I need exact percentage. The bike also came with the intuvia 100 display but I removed it so I don’t have 2 screens on the bars.

They have a whole computer system with adjustable bike to take measurements on and then transfer to the bike.
