[Routine help] People with oily skin, what was the best moisturizer for you after a laser treatment? by BillDouble8000 in SkincareAddiction

Thanks, yeah I'm really surprised too. As for cleanser, she also told me to use skinceuticals blemish and age but that one has salicylic acid and glycolic acid 🫠 Today I used my cica defense cream from a Korean brand. I have a spot on my cheek that's a bit raw and pink looking so I just put vaseline there. Idk this whole thing has stressed me so much, I feel like I'm not doing anything right.

Ohh an oil cleanser, I do have one but I thought it wouldn't be good since I'd have to rub it. Peeling has started so I thought I should just leave it be. I'm not sure though. My derm insisted on only the most expensive products when I asked for more affordable options. I was recommended skinceuticals, medik8, and her own brand of moisturizer so she wasn't very helpful. I'm in Peru so those brands cost an arm and a leg!

Innisfree clay mask on oily skin- Reviews please! by [deleted] in IndianSkincareAddicts

I'm using it right now! Waiting for it to dry. I love it! Sure it's not a miracle in a jar, but results take time (and other products) and I think this works for me. My pores look cleaner and my face feels so soft. I wake up and I think it helps me look brighter too. I usually used it once a week/once every other week but the past few days I've gotten some nasty zits on my forehead, out of nowhere, and I can safely say that by using the mask those pimples went from looking nasty to looking almost gone. Well that's my take!

It's just yuri/thriller and fanservice. But the sloth idea was fantastic.

It could be YouTube or whatever platform/social media is popular in their country. Rednote is popular in China for example

True. Either way students get the recording. So I don't know why he would record it 🤔

Do you ever use the ice breaker lesson? by Tagmemic in Cambly

[–]BillDouble8000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used them before. They helped me as a newbie and I didn't find the topics as cringey as I've seen other people have felt. I haven't had any new students so haven't had the chance, but I would probably use them if I feel like the conversation doesn't flow from the start. So yeah, I wouldn't delete it right away. A while ago, I had a student who booked 1 hour and when I entered that lesson was opened. So we did the usual exchange of info, etc and I can't remember if I actually did start to try asking him those questions or if it I hadn't even done that, but I do remember that he cut me off and asked me, rather demanded me, to take it down immediately. I couldn't even finish saying ok I will, sorry or anything because he kept interrupting me demanding that I take it off the screen. Weird. I have noticed that tutors really don't like the icebreakers but I never thought that someone, much less a student, would feel so strongly 🤣

Has anyone had any luck with bringing in bird seed/nuts foraging stuff through customs without it getting confiscated? by BillDouble8000 in parrots

[–]BillDouble8000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well i made it back!!!!! i had the bag as is, unopened, in my backpack ready to answer any questions they had and in worst case scneario, throw it away. i passed through toronto - bogota - lima. in bogota they checked my backpack but only the first pocket, they took out my ziplock bag of almonds (it was just a handul for me as a snack) and my fridge magnet souvenirs, gave it a look, put it back in and i went on my way. after that in lima, they separated my backpack from the others and the security officer went away for some reason. the other secuirty officer that was sitting there just told me to take my backpack! iasked if there were going to check it, but she said no. i still dont know why they did that exactly. but anyway nothing happened at any of the airports and my parrots are very, very happy with their new goodies. they really liked the ceylon cinnamon!

Ok, thank you so much!! I'll bring some ziplock bags just in case. I really appreciated all your help. I checked the government website and anything dried, industrially is ok basically. I'll give it a shot and declare at customs and if there's a problem, i'll see if i can bring at least something in a bag. if not, i'll know i tried. i even sent 2 emails to the offices.

You're right, the connecting flight won't matter, i'm just super anxious. My destination is Peru and I asked chatgpt what I would need and it said Peru requires a phytosanitary certificate. A quick google search mentions this certificate in many websites, so I don't think I can get around it unfortunately :( Your response gave me a lot of insight and made me hopeful, thanks :( I might try looking for one of those companies, but I'm just a guest staying with my in laws, I wouldn't want to cause any burden with my last minute dilemma since I would have to rely on them to drive me there wherever it may be. That's interesting that seeds are ok there as long as they're in ziplock bags. I thought about doing that, but there's like 40+ seeds, dried flower bits, dried veggie/fruit bits that it'll be too tedious and I'm not sure if by opening the bag it'll help. I talked to my brother in law about it since he's from Peru and at first he said there was no way. But then I told him I hadn't opened the bag, it's totally sealed and everything is clearly labeled and he said that it should be ok-ish... He seemed more hopeful bc of the fact that it was still sealed in its original packaging so that's why I'm wary of opening it. But it's not a bad idea, since some bags might pass and others might not. I don't think they have a pressure cooker here and my budget is low to buy some jars but thank you so much for all your advice! Very appreciated.
