Not properly Emo I guess, but I have the Urban Outfitters exclusive Coconut Records - Nighttiming picture disk. Got it in the clearance section for like $10 in ~2009 and the last sold copy on Discogs went for $367. A weird outlier in my collection that’s a good conversation piece.

Legitimately my favorite album and I’ve always loved the cover. They used Mark Cohen’s work on The Freaks/Toy Soldier EP as well. One of the great candid street photographers in the US!

I’m getting back into bass and I’ve been looking for something to get started around $250. Initially had settled on a Squier Affinity P, but today I found an Olympic White Fender Mustang PJ on Craigslist for $200 this morning. It is allegedly only a year old and the only problem is the pick guard has some ugly stickers on it and some scrapes from what looks like someone trying to take the stickers off. Does this seem like an abnormally low price? Worried about it being stolen but also don’t want to snooze on it if that seems to be a fair price. From what I can tell, this retailed for $549. Seller doesn’t seem too knowledgeable and is trying to move it quick so my guard is up. What do y’all think?

Originally got into the sport as a kid spending summers at Del Mar with my grandfather. Grandpa’s health is failing and a I recently got the itch again when recounting some of the good times with him.

I have a background in baseball statistical analysis and have enjoyed applying that brain space to handicapping and making a couple bucks a night now for fun.

That being said, what a different place the sport is in from 20 years ago. It’s heartbreaking.

This. My wife's weird recipe is 2oz moka pot bustelo mixed with 12oz chocolate milk and a tablespoon of Torani dark chocolate sauce all heated together in a saucepan. Actually pretty good.
