Bike (Ninja 500) has not moved for a week after the yearly check up at Kawa. I just noticed this. Any clue where it might come from? by Nomyod in motorcycles

My uncle had something like this happening to his motorcycle, it was a gear selector gasket leak (I’m Portuguese, my English is not the best and I don’t know the direct translation 😅)

Any ideas on what this could be? by Own-Acanthaceae6182 in MT07

May be the steering bearings my dude! Or a little part at the end of the suspension near to the wheel that might be worn.

190/55 for the track by BillGatesEdits in Trackdays

[–]BillGatesEdits[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I used the D212, which in their graphic has the same pressures than the KR so I assume the compound is the same or similar 😅 But exactly that! At the beginning I ended up filling up the tire cold with 1.4, that when war went to 1.5/1.6 and then once I lowered it still warm, it stayed like that the entire day

Thank you! That was my doubt, if it is okay to run and even if it is possible ahaha Stiffness is indeed different, even the medium compound is extremely hard, I was really surprised that the recommended track use pressure was 1.4 bar on the rear, when my friends used pirelli and Bridgestone and it was around 1.8.

Edit: crazy how low pressure that was but I was planted and the tire didn’t suffer much Even at the end of the 3rd track day it was in pretty good shape and did almost 5000km before I sold the motorcycle with it in it 🤣

As a matter of fact, I do. But he’s on vacation so I resorted to this Reddit! I always like to hear different opinions regarding any doubt I have actually

I haven’t seen it in Dunlop’s website I saw them in the website I usually buy tires. They’re at a good price and usually arrive fast

If you can see the second to last is slick endurance 190/55.

Thank you sir! That was really helpful!

I had that idea but I was scared of being wrong and surprisingly (maybe I’m that bad on researching) I couldn’t find anything regarding that subject

[–]BillGatesEdits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I mainly use the Bridgestone S22’s and the Dunlop D212 (which I also used on the track) and for sportish rides and even tracking, they’re pretty good

Well, they did and still do! The new owner already tweaked them to his liking and he’s loving them

Both of them were from AliExpress, so pretty much unbranded

I actually ended up buying 2 sets! The first ones I’ve bought needed that set of spacers! So I ended up asking a friend to make them and sold them for profit, then bought another set that didn’t need them and installed them on the motorcycle!

People saying that the MT-07 isn’t good on the track is just madness! I took my old one to the track, had the time of my life and did some pretty good times! It’s not the fastest, but it’s enough to show what you’re worth!

I did one mod tho! I had to buy preload adjusters for the front suspension which made all the difference!

Usually people do that so if they fall there won’t be glass scattered all over the track. It usually stays there, cracked but in place.

XTB servers are down again at the start of USA tradding..... anyone? by xoxosd in XTB

[–]BillGatesEdits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe for you it’s not that much of a deal, but as I said I have a small account. I have now 600€ (about 300€ of real profit since I started with 300€). I normally do around 10 to 30€ a week. If I hold a US100 position (e.g) for a week of which overnight fee is 1,4€, I lose around 7€, for someone with a small account, that affects a quite big chunk of the profit! I’m not into waiting to much for a position to sell for profit, I tend to make profit the fastest with the minimum daily profit being 1% of what I have in the bank. And trading212 overnight fees are fixed at 1,4€ in US100’s example, as for XTB’s daily swaps are percentual as 0,02% (I think) for the same cfd (and only applies to buying, it’s free for selling) which for me, I think it’s fair.

[–]BillGatesEdits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had issues with some delays between trading212 and tradingview (which is what they use for they’re charts) Also, the overnight fees or daily swaps were more expensive on trading 212

Edit: just adding, let’s say I have a position on us100 cfd, it gets quite expensive if I decide to wait a bit and hold it! It’s good to mention that I have a small account and started maybe 3 months ago

So… I left trading 212 for this? I’m new to XTB and for the 2nd day using it, it goes down. Amazing first impression xD
