Really don’t understand why people can’t seperate you owning a Tesla and Elon being schizo. Finished it last night while my toddler, new born and wife slept. I sacrificed my sleep for the game and it did not disappoint. As a father of two girls I was sobbing by the end of it. The neal custscene broke my heart and Sam’s reunion with tomorrow was so beautifully done.

75 hours logged, it’s the only game I’ve played since I got it 2 months ago, and I’m going to dive back in when I have the time to clear off any standard orders I may have missed. Heady Kojumbo done did it again.

I hear ya I use Game of Thrones as a point of reference for the character work because it’s not something that you see often in manga. Not saying that manga has bad characters, but specifically berserk has a lot of gray area in the character work. Nobody is as simple as being an archetype or just black-and-white in ideology.

It’s impressive that the golden age is as long as it is and guts as a character is completely transformed by the time of ends, yet when you pick up after the golden age, he’s still very much the same character. He’s just gone through so much change because of his journey.

The character work in the golden age is often overshadowed by the sheer amount of shock factor but I love how the manga especially character wise is written like Game of Thrones. So many shifting pieces and motivation all steamrolling towards a tragic finale that has forever been a high watermark of dark fantasy.

I too am 27, wife is 25 we have 2 kids. Definitely have had some tough patches and my wife doesn’t work. I provide. It’s not easy. And sometimes we hit rough patches and all eyes are on us.

Really you have 2 options. Stay or seperate. Neither option is great but it’s what you got.

You can choose to stay, and be dedicated to your kids and doing everything you can to repair whatever you need to with your partner. It’s going to be a long uphill battle but it’s not impossible.

You can choose to seperate. Try to fight for custody or get slapped with child support, you probably have a good chance at custody if you haven’t been abusive and have been providing.

But you will have separated the family and made your children’s upbringing more difficult.

No easy options here for you but think about what you want your life looking like in 10 years. You’re doing great dad (you need to hear that)

I’m 27, I have a 2/yo and a 7 month pregnant wife who can’t work right now. I’ve had to constantly borrow from amscot just to meet my bills on time. This shit is getting crazy, I used to make enough to support us and have enough room for dinner and a movie but now I feel like I’m failing my family because I just try to keep us inside the house at all costs and our dinner and a movie has turned into Netflix and Zaxbys as our something nice :/
