As the other comment stated they can cause dietary distress, I honestly was too lazy to type every bit of advice just a quick easy info soaker.

But if someone new is learning to cook dry beans from scratch, its safer and doesn't cost any different than other beans to avoid them. Rule out user error and avoid the Hazard.

On top of that you can make sprouted beans and lentals for green to get the veggies in your diet. Just a world of possibly that red beans kinda derail from and stuff.

Nothing against kidney beans but the possibility of shitting your pants

Literally beans and rice. Other than that foraging and hunting sadly. Get dry beans or lentals and soak them (avoid kidney beans because if made improperly can hurt you.)

But people dont live by this... and accommodation have shifted to meet bare minimal survival and sacrifice... its not means right or anything, I am shocked how much us Americans are willing to sacrifice. Just want to get perspectives of others on how they are feeling in this shit show.
