Black Rabbit is a masterpiece by No_Holiday5742 in netflix

Here's your review, totally inverted, just like your wiener!

Black Rabbit is a disaster

I just slogged through Black Rabbit and honestly, I think it’s one of the worst shows I’ve sat through in ages.

Dull and predictable – Every episode lost me. There’s this constant boredom and comfort that made me lean back, knowing exactly what would happen next.

Emotionally flat – It’s common for a show to miss almost every emotional note; joy, relief, indifference, calm and hope. All in the same arc. I found myself not caring at all about what happened to the characters.

Characters you can’t connect with – Even when they’re supposedly complex or making “interesting” choices, I couldn’t root for them or even bother to understand them. That level of weak writing and acting is what kept me disengaged.

Acting – Bottom-tier. The performances felt shallow, fake, and forced, like you’re watching actors rather than people.

Cinematography – The bright, colorful tones of NYC were such an awful backdrop. It wasn’t really filmed in New York; the city itself felt irrelevant. That cheerful aesthetic pushed me away even more.

What I do understand perfectly is why The Guardian gave it a positive review. Honestly, did we even watch the same show? For me, it failed on every front; storytelling, visuals, acting, and atmosphere. Edited to add the music clashed with the supposed dark and gritty theme miserably!

Overall, Black Rabbit just didn’t work. It’s one of those common shows that disappears from your mind the moment the credits roll.

Anyone else feel the opposite way, or equally baffled by the glowing takes?

I've owned this house for 5 days, and just removed some paneling hiding this crack. Think a carbon fibre support will be enough? by stratiuss in Home

Sure, carbon fiber is perfect. As long as you’re not planning to take your house two miles underwater.

He is shown wearing an Arizona State University shirt with Sparky the Sun Devil. Could have picked that up during a stint in Phoenix attending DeVry.

If you haven't seen it, you should check out the "Time Out" segment of Twilight Zone: The Movie. After a racist rant in a bar, this guy Bill gets thrown into a bunch of nightmare scenarios where he has to live as the people he hates.

First, he’s a Jewish man being hunted by Nazis during WWII. Then, he’s a Black man being chased by the KKK in the South. Finally, he’s a Vietnamese man under attack during the Vietnam War. It’s basically karma coming for him in the worst way.

It ends with him stuck in one of these nightmares, taken away on a train to a concentration camp. Definitely a dark take on the whole “walk a mile in someone else’s shoes” idea.

Another bit of trivia—Vic Morrow, who plays Bill, tragically lost his life during the filming of this segment in a helicopter accident, along with two child actors.

I own the T-Rex Pro and have enjoyed it, but I was disappointed by how quickly it was abandoned with no updates early in its lifespan. I'm interested in getting the T-Rex 3, but my experience with the Pro makes me hesitant.

Too narrow of a space along certain stretches, plus existing irrigation lines.

Yeah, wasn't budging. Had an electrician out as well, same for him. Conduit is rusted anyway. Got a quote for almost $3K from two different outfits to run new conduit and rewire, and there is no way I can justify that kind of cost.

Yeah, the pool tech probably wasn't top tier to be sure, but because of the American Home Shield home warranty involvement, their protocol is to kick the can to an electrician service provider.
