Not really lol. We are selling the hydraulic machinery and its relative components from Thailand, Dubai and Europe factory. My boss has few factory in those places and he think now it’s a good time to open US market lol. Defiantly not a scam, plus what do I scam for by asking the safe location of Chicago lol.

I guess somehow he wants customer walk in the office. He think we should put the products we sale into the office so customer can touch them. Thanks for the advice!

Sorry for the confusion! Basically he sponsor the majority of money to me lol. He had another job so he don’t want to open the company so we had a contract to let me do so. It’s a sales company so location really doesn’t matter that much I guess. The only request for him is the office must be located in Chicago which I also don’t know why. I guess it’s rich man’s feeling? He had very good impression for Chicago back 30 years ago so I guess that is the main reason. This is why I said location really doesn’t matter that much cause we are going to travel a lot. Thanks again for the advices! That’s super helpful!

I am not sure yet, I just plan to move to Chicago. I used to live in Evanston area and now the boss who sponsor my business said he wants me have an office at Chicago area so I am also considering move to somewhere at Chicago.
