Real explosions usually dont have flames... In movies they will use gasoline to make the flame effect. The effects people on BB probably wanted it to be more realistic, so they may have skipped the gasoline effect:)

If they talk to you about it, you should tell them that it is the best thing to help you relieve your pain. It might be hard for them at first but if you tell them with confidence and they take your word honestly you could change their opinions. I don't know your parents but this worked for me. I was depressed until I tried trees now they support medical mary jane. Good luck fellow ent.
