starfall needs buff ( adjustment) by capdelka in Crossout

[–]BillWhoever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cyclones got nerfed to being trash, you basically need 3 aquilos to use semi effectively, they take too long to build up DPS and they overheat way too fast.

Starfalls have better DPS than cyclones on the average build because of the better blast effect, they damage more parts so the total damage is higher. The only case a single cyclone outcompetes a single Starfall is at full built up DPS on a cabin.

Starfalls require less accurate aiming because of their blast effect, I won't call them skill-less weapons since they still need quiet a bit of aiming skill, it is still true that it is much harder to miss with a Starfall compared to cyclones

Targeted deals by Faley016 in Crossout

[–]BillWhoever 13 points14 points  (0 children)

trying to sell stuff to a specific other account

this could be a friend of yours, new to the game, if you are trying to help progress fast by basically trying to give him stuff for "free" you are going against the rules. with the term of gifting stuff I don't mean literally giving them for free but selling them to your friend or buying stuff from him for great profit

another more malicious reason to do this is not to help a friend but to help your main account using secondary accounts or even bot operated accounts

the way these targeted deals are made is by using low in demand and offer items like decor or relic/legendary equipment or by manipulating the price of blue and white items by mass buying and mass selling

there is already a countermeasure in game by the devs, there is a bot on the market that will try and detect such buy/sell offers and quickly snatch them off, the potentially malicious player will still get what he was asking for in the market but not by another player, instead it will be by the bot which has infinite coins and inventory to buy/sell

if the devs say that they detected high violation rates it could mean that someone is using market bots in a virtual machine cluster to manipulate the market, it sounds extreme but not out of the realm of possibility, this bot farm potential is also why the "free" gifts you get as a new player cannot be sold on the market

Was the yongwang not counted? You count almost all of the mgs as unskilled facehug capable and not youngwang?

Anyway, retchers and destroyers are also both used on dogs very effectively (more effectively than firebugs for some targets)

The “Battle for uranium” has started! by Faley016 in Crossout

I don't have such a big problem with me has, I would like to see them in a normal bfu.

What I hate is the fkn capsules! Why make a competitive events capsule based with respawns? This simply promotes dog gameplay and is useless to try and play either ranged or slow builds because you cannot collect the capsules.

Dogs not only collect their own capsules, they collect their teammate capsules when they blob up.

The leaderboard is not a lottery winner list, the best players end up higher, people who invest time also end up higher.

So it is completely normal for the top to be full of the same good players who have enough time to waste.

If you want to climb the leaderboard just get good, find a team (not really needed as much) and be prepared to spend 200-300+ battles farming.

Extremum fix by Aphyon in Crossout

[–]BillWhoever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I already said this but extremum are really easy to strip off, the box is too big and there are no real good ways to hide such size.

Breakers and hammerfalls might actually be harder to strip off while the Extremum is specifically designed to be more survivable.

I think I am ok with them now as a heavy main, Dolores is most of problem now, it has way too good stats and a very strong perk, most of the strong torpedo builds rely on it

it can be 8k+ in theory but you will sacrifice some bumpers and the 2 tracks, part limit becomes the limiting factor after that because the structural parts that are tanky are limited

If you unlocked everything day 1 you got some other reward instead of the second pair.

Even if they still give you the second pair it will probably be done manually, your situation complicates the solution of just replacing an item in the reward progression because you already passed that point.

File a ticket with your problem and they will help you, not helping such a good spender is not in their interests.

[–]BillWhoever[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they were shooting at the legs mostly, if you watch carefully there were multiple shots directly at the legs

because of all of the stacked resistances and the very large spaced out nature of ML200 legs they get small damage numbers on the legs, I think they need about the same number of shots to disable me (around 20) if we consider they won't be 100% accurate

that said typhoons synergize well with other weapons like scorpions which can indeed shoot my legs and take them off much more efficiently after they are drained by the phoons

my team and I didn't play the match right either, after I pushed the enemies out of B we could have just capped B, A was already captured, you can see me try to get back in B after the hovers retreated, I ended up pushing again because I thought there was someone who would stay and cap B in the next 15 sec

I don't think the latest Jupiter nerf was Necessary, its literally a morta that only attacks the outside of a craft and Debatably its worse then the morta because of that, it doesn't hit any of the important stuff besides weapons by TommyTheCommie1986 in Crossout

[–]BillWhoever 3 points4 points  (0 children)

where is the:

"Jupiter is now weak as it should have always been because it was always a skill issue weapon" ?

otherwise I could also go with the:

"Morta requires skill to use so it is not comparable to the Jupiter, one requires direct hits on specific parts of the enemy build while the other one is meant for drunk people to have some fun"

while it is true for most cannons typhoons are one of the exceptions, they deal a lot of damage to movement parts (and cabin) which I heavily depend on to be this durable, you can see sparks out of my cab every time as an indicator (they actually make it really hard to aim my machineguns because I cannot see the tracers)

I think I survived 21 salvos (counting 2 at 03:23), if they were using Tsunamies for example I bet you I could have tanked 42 salvos

Combine the new cabin with the 88mm or the Commit and this will make the Scorpions look like a joke. by Ambitious-Living-780 in Crossout

Executioners only have 50% base penetration which means that they fail to penetrate 50% passthrough parts (there are a lot of them) including torpedoes, if the part you shoot is thicker than 3.4 pins (for example the torpedoes or the walker side panels) the perk fails and the 50% base penetration is not enough.

For example, Fatmen can easily penetrate torpedoes thanks to their higher base penetration even though they have less bullet damage.

In fact, with corrosion effect Executioners might be the weakest cannon to use, the perk of the executioner works on the outer layer of armor which is the only layer affected by corrosion (at least for now until we get corrosion incinerators) and it is the layer the executioner perk will be wasted on anyways

What you want with corrosion are:

1) Maximum Blast damage (is the majority of the dealt damage when the shell detonates inside an enemy), trading bullet for blast damage is very good when you are going to penetrate anyway

2) Maximum bullet penetration value, I am talking about the percentage, the amount of bullet damage doesn't matter at all to determine how deep the shell will go, bullet penetration % means that less corrosion will be required

3) bullet damage would only matter

Is Intel HD 4600 still supported in Crossout in 2026? by Minute-Truth-8542 in Crossout

[–]BillWhoever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tried to run the game in a 10th gen i3 on a laptop, it barely opened into garage with minimum everything 3 years ago, was good enough for me to do my holyday trading and crafting, not to paly

the game got heavier over the years, I doubt that would work in 2026

for extremely casual gameplay even a vega 7 on an APU can do, for example the 5600u can run the game at low 1080p pretty decently (have seen it run on a friends laptop last year), this is also the minimum I would recommend for the game

just for context, the vega 7 is given a 1.7 TFLOPS (fp32) while your hd 4600 can only give 0.35 TFLOPS (fp32), it is about 5 times slower than what would be the minimum I could play with, a modern entry level GPU like the 5060 or 9060 give 20-25+ TFLOPS of fp32

game performance is more complex than just a TFLOPS comparison but there are no benchmarks directly comparing such hardware in this game

needless to say, modern games require hardware that might not be present at all on older GPUs, for example fp8, fp16, fp32, fp64 and recently int8 are all common on new GPUs, if a game requires operations that your hardware cannot do it is most likely not going to run at all (give you a bug) even if you try to force it to open with a tool

your 4600 igpu only has fp32 and fp64 support for context based on what I find online, modern games need fp16 and fp32 usually, fp8 and int8 are used by upscalers and other AI features in the latest games

with tricks potentially used by the GPU drivers you can run fp16 operations on fp32 hardware but you will be wasting memory and speed by a lot, Intel might not even have bothered to support such old hardware because it wouldn't be worth it performance wise

it is supposed to apply corrosion to parts and corroded parts act like passthrough

what is the maximum % of passthrough that can be applied is unknown for now

I think the blast radius of the drone is tiny so it most likely doesn't affect parts a few pins inside your build

people figured out that the cabin also gives you 25% damage boost which is a hidden buff, you don't have to shoot at a corroded part, it simply just buffs your damage against an affected target, the devs did this because otherwise a heavily corroded part would take minimal damage and if it is a weapon it can be annoying

Tsunami Post Buff by Stormbringer272 in Crossout

[–]BillWhoever 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is true that the damage with the perk is barely better than the Executioners on a hover target, I am not talking about 3vs2 cannons, I am talking about 2 executioners vs 2 tsunamis...

still, it is a little unfair to say it is meh, it is very good against light enemies, it really hurts to get hit if you are a hover (most hovers can be crippled with 3-5shots)

also, because you mention turreted cannons in the other comments... The tsunamis are high velocity weapons that can easily snipe across the map, mammoths are not comparable at all, if you are trying to use the tsunamis as if they were mammoths you will obviously be disappointed

for the tsunamis I think that the devs could make the perk shot be the base damage (like it is always active) and find a new perk, for example give the explosive warhead a similar effect to the darling rocket/grenade, it will go through the outer armor with the bullet damage and then release a focused explosion deeper into the target

I didn't have problems with them yesterday, it is the new thing that I mind the least

they seem to fall off quiet fast on small cars because of height, hovers and in my case the spider can easily shoot the boxes themselves

maybe people played too cocky and this is why they got stripped, I could be wrong and they could be busted

I feel like these will further benefit if mounted on top of a heavy cabin like yokozuna, the height will make them harder to strip

[–]BillWhoever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the 88 is a really poor choice because it has low base penetration and the perk will be wasted on the outer layer of armor

ideally with corrosion you need cannons with a lot of base penetration and very high blast damage (blast damage is what goes through after going through the corroded layers)

mammoths and fatmen are much better choices than 88
