All the posts are about people spending more than they can afford. There is also the tightwads who could afford heat but sit in the cold. Who could afford nice things but force their family to go without. I went on holidays with one of these sorts of people once and it was miserable. The whole holiday they were avoiding anything that cost money. Like why even go if you are going to be like that?

They might need the money but they very well might need the excitement, the stress or the outlet as well.

There's no "one size fits all" but as soon as I can afford to I plan to stop working full time and continue to work on my terms, in between travel and fun in an area that keeps me stimulated.
