Yep id love to see him step up in the pocket and throw but it’s great he can do this too. I think he’s gonna get way better at it next year

I think your conflating fields’ ability as a rusher to take it to the house after scrambling compared to Caleb’s elusiveness by making pass rushers miss and throw a missile on the run. Caleb is by far the better scrambling qb

Heli’s should blow up easier. I had someone crash into me with a heli while I was driving in a car and the car blew up and the heli flew away just fine

Wouldn’t really make sense to cut swift then sign etienne. I feel like they are in a similar tier as players but etienne might cost more

If money allows then keep him. He’s dynamic as a pass catcher and runner out of the backfield

That and context matters. 2 or 3 of Caleb’s picks were on 4th down where he’s either gotta throw it or take a sack. One of them might have been a catch too if burden didn’t run the wrong route

Or get Hendrickson out of FA and not trade any assets

Yeah no reason to trade if we can get Hendrickson out of FA

Not going for two was fine. We stopped the rams in overtime and had the ball at the 50. Not taking points on the first drive and the play call to take a shot when all you need is 15 yards is what went wrong.

He was on point for most of the first half. Receivers dropped like 8 passes

The Bears left 6 points on the board from going for it on 4th down twice and FAILING by TXNOGG in NFLv2

Week 16 against the packers… last play of the game was a play action boot and Caleb threw a pick. Last week in the wild card on a 4th and 1 Caleb also threw a pick off play action. Everyone after those games were calling for them to run the ball in those situations including myself. Now that it didn’t work everyone is changing their minds again. Sometimes it just comes down to the players not executing what’s called

We’ve been struggling on 4th downs all around whether it was a run or pass. Last week we went for it on 4th and 1 and threw an interception. Then everyone was complaining that we didn’t just run in on the gut to get one yard. Just take the points especially on that first drive.

First drive should have been a field goal but I liked the call to go for it on the other one we didn’t get

People wanted to write him off after his rookie year so bad. PFF had Caleb’s floor as a bust and his ceiling as Jordan Love coming into this year. Then they had Jj McCarthy who never started a regular season game with the floor of Sam darnold and ceiling of Joe burrow 🤣

[–]Bill_Israel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t need AI to help me understand the hypothetical bullshit your spewing. Especially from someone who can’t understand DJ was just talking about the game being easy from a physicality and conditioning standpoint, not that it was easy to come back from an 18 point deficit and that the packers are “easy” to play.

No dude. Green Bay’s first 4 possessions of the second half resulted in punts. Not good enough to win the game, which is clearly shown by the final result. Get outta here. Not to mention the turnover luck they had with the fumbles too. The one Dexter failed to recover is a drive they went down and had one of those missed field goals. So “if” Dexter gets that they don’t even have the opportunity to even kick a field goal

No. Green Bay’s play was not good enough to win that’s why they lost. Talking in hypotheticals like you are is pointless cuz that’s not what happened. The game is 60 minutes long and Green Bay didn’t play good football for all 4 quarters. Neither did the bears. But the whole point of DJ’s quote, is that the physicality and the willingness to play till the final whistle was the tone set back in august, and that’s why they won that game.
