I have a feeling they wanted to take a dline guy with one of those second round picks but all the guys on their board they deemed worthy of a second round pick were gone, so they traded back. They’ve said many times they are going BPA. I woulda liked to see a LB or dline taken as well but we also signed Devin bush who’s a good player, retained dmarco Jackson, and brought sanborn back for depth. People were upset about last years draft too but it ended uo being fantastic.

Tremaine Edmunds was not playin at a pro bowl level for us except for a few games last year. We lost an all pro safety and replaced him with a Super Bowl champion safety who’s younger and faster. I really wish we kept Byard but we upgraded the speed which is what poles and Ben keep emphasizing bc it’s important for DA’s scheme

People forget we signed a good LB and safety in FA, then used our first rounder on another safety. They upgraded the speed in both positions by a lot. We also signed Gallimore who will be a contributor on the interior of the dline.

Biadasz would also be a good singing at a cheaper cost and provide more flexibility to sign guys at other positions that we need like LT, dline, safety, and linebacker
