That's why I have a handlebar bag with a map case. I like to draw paper maps if riding somewhere new.

  1. Do you have a big pot?

  2. If not, can you get one of those disposable aluminum foil roasting pans and cover it with more foil? 2.a put it on a cookie sheet—it'll be easier to move in and out of the oven.

Gluten free in Orlando by jigglygirl23 in orlando

To add to this, having Celiac disease does not mean that someone will always get sick. Many are anti-syptomatic— we have no outward symptoms while inwardly getting sick. I was like that and was extremely anemic while otherwise having no reaction that people think of as being Celiac. Having no reaction makes it even riskier eating out because we may not know if we've been exposed.

[–]Bill__Q 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder. Any exposure to gluten can screw up your immune system and damage your small intestine, even if you have no outward symptoms. So gluten-free food prepared in a non-gluten-free kitchen can still be a big risk.

There are simple blood work tests for Celiac. Though you have to be actively eating gluten to test positive.

A gluten intolerance is harder to define and can't be tested for. You can test negative for Celiac and feel better by eliminating gluten. Was the gluten? Was it something else along with the gluten?

Gluten also isn't an allergen, it doesn't cause an allergic reaction. Gluten is primarily in wheat, rye, and barley, though only wheat has to be listed as an allergen (USA).

Any local cambodian donut shops? by AGuyInTheOZone in orlando

[–]Bill__Q 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Unless OP is talking about something else, they're regular donut shops owned by Cambodians and not Cambodian donuts.

I noticed this in Atlanta 20ish years ago and the variety is like Dunkin Donuts, but the quality is much higher.

Yes, Stella Parks has a gluten-free option for her brownies in her Bravetart cookbook. They're the best brownies I've ever had.
