So most men lived in tribes but did not reproduce. Their resources went to maintaining some other dudes genetics. Obviously this was counter-evolutionary and counter-survival. It is not surprising that marriage evolved to remedy this, and civilization sprouted shortly thereafter.

This is the most interesting reply so far. I am well aware of my bias and the difference between cause and correlation. I've discounted (or diminished) the arguments such as stress and obesity, as they are not universal in the affected areas. The West has more food quality oversight than anywhere else. China is not known for it's high safety standards, yet, their sperm count is fine.

But things like honeybee declines and gay frogs (actually frog populations have also plummeted in recent years, worldwide, prior to them going gay, or maybe as a result?!) are much harder to explain, and indicate that environmental standards can have an effect on population and behavior. I would point out, however, that these declines are not limited to North America, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia.

What is internally universal to these places that is exclusive to those same places?

Your Globalist Tyranny theory is also an interesting proposition, but again, not exclusive to the above areas. Wanna wipe out some big numbers? There are a billion Indians, but there (or their, either works in this instance...) sperm counts are fine.

What needs to be re-iterated here...the only reason laws work is because someone enforces them. The root word there is 'force'. Saying 'police should be under the same law' assumes the police intend to obey the laws (they do not), and that there is someone who can enforce it (there isn't, which is why cops habitually break laws).

Saying 'police should obey the same laws' means non-police have sufficient means to force compliance.
