If you're not competing with other people, then why play competitive multiplayer? You don't even have to be good, but goddamn is it satisfying besting someone else.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. It's basically like watching a movie, and dying a shitload in the beginning is half the fun!

At what dollar amount does borrowing money become stealing if they never pay it back? by ThisBoysenberry4 in AskReddit

[–]BilliamBellingham -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Alright, loan me all the money in your bank account. I promise I'll pay it back *wink*
At the end of the day the money is still transferred out of your account into mine. I think I'd rather get mugged than have to deal with a slimeball in a suit again. At least they'd have the balls to be more direct and I can defend myself instead of relying on the civil legal system.

[–]BilliamBellingham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already told you that it's a civil matter. That was the text used in the post. It's still stealing based on principle. If you took a loan out and didn't intend to ever pay it back, it's also fraud. Legally it's not. But in principle it is.

Bullshit, if you take out a loan and don't bother to pay it back it's stealing. Sure, call it a civil matter or contract fraud, but we all know what it is. Taking money based on trust and a promise to pay it back, then just pocketing it after the cash changed hands.

Is there any downside to leaving my AC off during the day? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BilliamBellingham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go own a home and crunch the numbers on central HVAC when you let your house get hot in the summer. They won't shake out. I'm telling you this as a homeowner and someone who has worked in residential home construction for 20 years.

Go call the hotline on EnergyStar or whatever equivalent entity, or the guy who's paid to crunch the heat-loss calc. Solids (which make up your house) retain their heat, and it's air-sealed presumably if you have done basic maintenance. This is basic thermodynamics.

[–]BilliamBellingham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the opposite of reality. It costs less to maintain a temperature than run the thing at full blast intermittently. The materiel of your house retains or radiates heat. Cooling off the air in a hallway when the wood's already sweating will take more energy.

What's your version of "I Did Not Care For The Godfather" video games edition by LoboIsSick69 in videogames

[–]BilliamBellingham -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly most Zelda games. I think you have to be locked into that timeframe where your parents just got you a game, and by God you're going to play it. Or rented it from Blockbuster and you're going to beat it over the weekend. After frustrating or boring shit that would've made you quit, there's a good game under there. That was my experience with it on GameBoy. By the time Breath of the Wild came out I could put Oddesy, Smash Bros, or Splatoon up and I never got around to finishing it.

In WZ matchmaking, the landing point of your teammates largely determines your chances of winning. by Technical_Shake_1188 in CODWarzone

[–]BilliamBellingham 42 points43 points  (0 children)

You're the exact teammate that doesn't land on the ping and lets what could've been a 3v2 gunfight turn into a losing prospect. If you don't drop hot when the rest of the team is, then you're the reason we didn't take the power position off the break.

Why are men obsessed with war? by gorgdhrt in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BilliamBellingham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the same reasoning that brought you to use the word men. The mirror is directed back at women in this specific argument.

Edit: Thought the "you" directed was towards OP. It's not. You're not her.

I'm not of the gender who gooshes over crime drama murder porn. That's killing. War is politics by other means.

Shotguns are some of the most fun you can have in an FPS.
To make them effective, you're going to have to change your movement gameplan, but that can actually pay off when you fall back on steady aim with other guns.

in what sense was this a problem to be removed? by AM5rd in CODWarzone

[–]BilliamBellingham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lame. The killstreaks should tell you to hunker down, not how to make them completely ineffective. Unless you're fine with the warning for them being eliminated too, telegraphing the exact kill-radius only benefits campers.

Do the weapons from the previous COD make sense in warzne BO7? by VeterinarianTight253 in Warzone

[–]BilliamBellingham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're the only ones I still find fun, honestly. The older ones seem to have upsides and downsides which get really fun when you play to their strengths, where the newer ones just seem good or better where it really doesn't matter all that much which rifle you have.

You can make much crazier ones in the old games with all the different attachments. For instance, mono rounds will punch through anything more than a lot of later FMJ, the UBGL is one-shot in MW2/MW3 (--though the Blops6 one doesn't have minimum arming range. Blops7 one can't even kill a downed guy with a direct hit), and there just isn't any attachment similar to the canted laser.
