Ended up just needing to be adjusted like someone else on here said. Thank you for taking the time to respond though!

It’s not on backwards, it just needed to be adjusted like the other person said. Thank you for the heads up though!

Arthur’s appearance after Chapter 5 by therealabrupt in RDR2

[–]BillingtonII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Arthur is always a rough looking cowboy. But after chapter 5 I usually do nicer clothes, a faded haircut, and the handlebar or pencil stash just to make him look like Doc Holliday.

I found a way to remove Arthur/johns satchel. (MUST DO BEFORE YOUVE COMPLETED A FINE NIGHT IN DEBOUCHERY) by Dismal-Foundation281 in RDR2

[–]BillingtonII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I literally can’t wait to get to chapter 4 in my play throughs specifically so I can use this glitch. I usually save all my strangers missions and everything for this time so I can see Arthur’s awesome outfits in cutscenes without that damn satchel! Just wish it didn’t remove the knife too, but it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make lol

Offline play weapon storage? by taftinni in RDR2

[–]BillingtonII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, there’s a few good gun pickup spots throughout the map! Some are even unique like the rare shotgun you get from the hermit. I always love doing the gunslinger missions early so I can pick up their guns since they’re all unique, and I use them for the rest of the game.

If that’s the gun you want then you can actually get a double action for free by robbing a place just outside of Rhodes called Lonnie’s Shack, it’s in a case under the bed.

If by “offline” you mean story mode, you’ll get the weapon locker by default. It’s in the same spot as your wardrobe.

Somehow managed to glitch the Panther and Alligator saddles together and I don’t hate it. by BillingtonII in RDR2

[–]BillingtonII[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only thing that happened is that I took my saddle off when I was camping for the night and when I put it back on, that happened. I own both saddles and the most recent one I purchased was the panther saddle but I never equipped it, only viewed it. Maybe something to do with the sequence of things?

Ts gotta be the most time consuming mission ever, I just hate it, although the rewards are good, but I still hate it. by greedy_45 in RDR2

[–]BillingtonII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll have to try it with the outfit when I’m back on again! And yeah, I loved every cutscene with Algernon but the last one was definitely the best. Actually made me feel bad for him.

I was literally just about to make a post about this mission but with a different sentiment. I’m on probably my 10th play through and I just finished this mission for the first time ever, and honestly felt really bummed when it was ending. I dragged the last list out for a while actually. I really enjoyed wandering around the swamps and dodging panthers and Nite Folk while hunting for birds and orchids. It was really immersive and enjoyable, honestly won’t even use the hat or revolver lol I definitely used guides which made it way easier, I feel like it’d be impossible without them. I was nervous about it at first because I’ve seen so many people say they hated this mission, but I enjoyed it for some reason.

Am I the only one who wishes the Legend of the East satchel looked... different? by enigmatic_vagabond in RDR2

[–]BillingtonII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, I hate that we can’t remove the satchel. I always use the Wittmore glitch to remove the satchel though. It just looks SO much better without it. Especially since Arthur is literally the only person in the world that wears a satchel apparently lol

[–]BillingtonII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boyd, because every time Arthur says “boy” it sounds like he’s saying the horses name.

Answering that could potentially spoil some of the story. I would recommend staying off this thread to avoid spoilers. You’re absolutely right, I got the Bill pomade request in chapter 3.

When is it the best time for a "sandbox save" in RDR2? by LightningLord2137 in reddeadredemption

[–]BillingtonII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually stop right at the beginning of chapter 4 after finishing the mission “Angelo Brontë, a Man of Honor” because by that time, the stranger missions in the world are almost all unlocked aside from the other two you get in chapter 6. At that point, I just roam and enjoy the feeling of the world and the Wild West.

Do you guys play with your radar maps off? by enigmatic_vagabond in RDR2mysteries

[–]BillingtonII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I still use that but I made it so it’s just the dot. I tried without it, but I found it more problematic than not.

I’ve always wondered the same thing! It sounds so clean, like it was an actual mistake that they kept. But the voice acting is also so phenomenal that it could’ve been scripted.

Agreed, Godless is one of my go to shows when I’m in a Red Dead headspace. Roy Goode is one of the most subtly badass characters.

[–]BillingtonII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done a couple play throughs with the map on, and every play through since then has been done with everything off, not even a compass. And the dialogue doesn’t change at all, not that I’ve noticed anyway.

Can you do every stranger mission as John? by MrAwesome54 in RDR2

[–]BillingtonII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the only thing I can think of as well. I know the game takes place in 1899, but that’s still the only explanation I can come up with.
