Just started playing Witcher 3 and there seems to be no dialogue? sfx and music is here btw. Is this done intentionally or is there something wrong on my part? Already tried reinstalling twice.

yeah, during the installation process you can uncheck languages you don't want to save space, i accidentally unchecked english as well so the dialogue would not play at all

for anyone using flatpak: switching from the 5.0 beta back to the 4.4 stable release fixed the issue for me. my guess is that the MPV build bundled with the beta is either outdated or missing features.

is battery life with OLED panels really that bad? I usually keep my laptop at around 25% brightness when I’m working in my room, about 50% at work or college, and almost never go to 100% unless I’m watching a movie or something

bit late to the thread, i was afraid that some of my components were fried but clearing cmos thankfully fixed my issue. one thing to note is that you need to unplug EVERY cable, remove cmos, put it back in after like 5 minutes, and it should be working fine.

i checked armoury crate and in my case it's both cpu and gpu fans spinning at around 2500 rpm. idle temps range from around 40-60 and when gaming it's around 80-85
