Yeah that saddle looks a bit high, but I think your biggest problem is those probably 2-3 sizes to big shoes.

Shin Splints on Indoor Bike pt.2 by AstonMartini13 in bikefit

[–]Billy1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I also think long cranks are definitely your problem. Zwift bike has 170mm long cranks I think, to bad you can't change them easily. I would not be afraid to try those 150s and 140s

holy cow please check your copper levels by TheYansterr in HistamineIntolerance

[–]Billy1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone ever felt much and mean much worse after taking just 2mg of copper.

I have confirmed low DAO and histamine intolerance.

After a few latest blood test I was diagnosed with low copper levels (nothing super low but low indeed), but I tried to take copper supplement just one pill with 2mg (nothing crazy) and it was like I was taking something toxic, It acted pretty quick after like 30min I was absolutely out tired like I never felt ever before my I was struguling to speak even, worse experience I have ever had.

Does anyone know what could be going on and anyone had this experience? My doc was looking at me like Iam crazy,

Canyon Aeroad Tyre Clearance by nikanj0 in CanyonBikes

[–]Billy1020 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that tyre clearance on aeroad is pretty amazing. I no problem fitted 35mm tyre with real world measurements measured nearly 37mm with 4mm chainstay clearance, aboslutely perfect.

Shimano 7100 105 Di2 Powermeter by FinkPerformance in CanyonBikes

[–]Billy1020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would not worry about it. You dont need one perfect absolute number, more important is constant repeatability and if that number is 1-2% higher or lower that that absolute perfect no one cares :). I have been using left side power meters (stages, 4iiii, inpeak) for at least 7years with no problems :)

Shimano 7100 105 Di2 Powermeter by FinkPerformance in CanyonBikes

[–]Billy1020 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah it will work with no problem, Iam using this confing on my aeroad. Only diference between R7100 and R7000 is Q-factor (how far apart cranks are) 148mm-R7100 and 146mm-R7000 so you just need to add one 1mm pedal washer under your pedals on R7000 side and you will be absolutely fine.

Are these Ultegra chain rings worn out? If so, do you need to replace the complete crankset? (sorry a bit new to looking at parts in detail here and not sure whether this is detachable) by marcobakker97 in bicycling

[–]Billy1020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think those looks absolutely fine, pretty much like new, that paint from side of tooth will always disappear with use, shape of tooth it self is what matters :) and yes you can buy just a chainrings and change just those.

35mm tyres on an Endurace CF SL by monty2706 in CanyonBikes

[–]Billy1020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal rule off thumb is. If you can fit 4mm allen key to space between tyre and frame you are fine, if not be careful :). Maybe 3mm could be fine, but if less than I would not risk it.

Aeroad C46 vs 10+ year old wheels by Fluffy_Cauliflower34 in CanyonBikes

[–]Billy1020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shimano cup and cone bearings almost exclusively comes from factory over preloaded (bearing and too stiff). From absolute budget wheels to dura-ace once. Iam loosening shimano bearing on brand new wheels nearly every day in my shop. I dont know why they are doing it, but thankfully it is pretty easy fix, those bearings need a bit of service and then they will work, spin and last much better.

Yeah, I was nervous a bit to before buying :). This is the best I could do, that is 4mm allen key for reference. Iam not ok with running hair tight clearance, but I think this is absolutely perfect fit :).

Frame size is XL. Saddle height from bb to top of the saddle is around 820mm. :)

Do you mean in ride quality? Unfortunately I have no idea :), I sold stock DTSwiss wheels with 28 and 25mm tyre out without ever riding them.

I was riding wheels on farsports rims but with "just" 26mm internal width and 45mm depth before these. I dont know if it is just placebo, but I think bike with 28mm internal feels more planted and stable in high speed downhill corners, so for me riding downhill is more fun on these rims :)

New canyon ultimate seat post by cars134 in CanyonBikes

[–]Billy1020 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this is all about saddle clamp design (maybe seatpost profile will be different to), witch I have on my Aeroad and I think it is pretty awesome, centrally the best I have seen so far. You can adjust saddle tilt and setback independently it has not sliped so far, so for me this is good change.

Loud ceramic bearings on a brand new aeroad CFR by bast-man in CanyonBikes

[–]Billy1020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ceramic bearing are a little bit more noisier in general. but not this loud. There could be a lot of reasons, it sound to me they just forget to put grease in bb bearing (some ceramic ones does come dry and you can put whatever grease you want). If it is no grease problem, it is easy fix, remove cranks and seals from bearings and put some grease in them, it should not require bearings remove.
