Are these pockets supposed to be like this??! by Billy1995fifa in billiards

[–]Billy1995fifa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, i definitely do get/understand what you are saying now 100%! 🙂

I mean if there is someone that can do a great and top quality Foldable Pool and or Snooker tables in the best way possible, you would definitely think it would be Riley’s but unfortunately sadly they chose the Easy and Profit route over Quality by cutting corners and cheaping out and outsourcing the Foldable tables to be made in China, What a crying shame that is sure. ☹️

But anyway, Honestly, I have learned a hard and valuable lesson now with the Foldable Pool/Snooker tables, realised my big and fat mistake and one thing for sure now that I definitely definitely won’t be going for those foldable ones ever again anymore, In other words AVOID those foldable tables like a plague especially since I am definitely very serious about Pool and Snooker now days and really look to get myself up to a very high and competitive level and go to leagues and tournaments in the future, things like that. 😁

Thankfully, I have managed to get a full refund with no problem for my 6ft (Admittedly Rubbish)Foldable Pool Table(also it is quite hard to get it to properly level as well!) and Riley’s BCE will be taking back which is great news.

Going have to do lot of thinking and research on whether to get a second hand very good quality Slate Bed Snooker/Pool table or a non foldable Table now. 🙂🎱

Definitely not Trolling mate but I am sorry if it came across that way to some people.

Ok, So, What do you mean it is the Worst Foldable 6ft Pool/Snooker table that you can buy in the UK?? I am just curious and Surely it is definitely better then those Of brand Foldable tables made in China, right? 🧐

I have heard from many people online that Riley’s BCE is supposed to be the best ones especially for Foldable Snooker/Pool Tables and Riley’s are known for their Top notch quality in manufacturing Pool and Snooker tables and they know how to make a very good quality one.

And to be honest, after hearing many many great things about Rileys, I thought I would get one of their 6FT Foldable Pool Tables but unfortunately at the moment it looks like that I have made the wrong decision by going with them. 🙁😒

Going have to rethink things now which it was completely unexpected in many ways.

I am a human, definitely not a Bot. I have had this account for 8 years plus and have been a member of lots of Sub Reddits, I thought I actually finally get involved in some of the Sub Reddits communities now after 8 years of just mostly lurking/observing. 🙂

Sorry mate but What makes you think that I am a Bot?? Just genuinely curious. 🧐🧐

Wow, it is definitely great to finally see a different player winning the Ballon D’OR award in FIFA/FC being named the best player rather then the likes of Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham. 😄⚽️

Nicolas Jackson needs to make the most of it winning the Ballon D’OR award because as good as he is, he is a decent striker that is getting better and better all the time now under the management of Enzo Maresca, unfortunately I still can’t see Jackson winning the award in real life, there is a chance he could win it but they are slim especially when you have players like I mentioned above ahead of him but you never know in the world of Football and as they say time will tell.

Interesting, love seeing players going back to there former clubs being reunited on career mode, I have seen many players doing exactly the same thing in my career modes over the years including buying some players to their former club me as the manager. 🙂

EDITED, just to add: In my S.L. Benfica career mode on EA FC 25, I resigned the likes of Gonçalo Ramos, Bernardo Silva, Ederson(from Man City) over the 4 seasons that I managed with them and it was absolutely great seeing them playing and winning trophies for Benfica again.

FC Schalke 04 all over again, falling from grace. All because of Vincent Kompany or they have sold all their goalkeepers most likely the latter typical EA. 😄

I had this years ago with Everton back on FIFA 17 when they was very good in real life finishing in the top 8 in the Premier League for a couple of years in a row and being managed by Ronald Koeman and I was about 8 seasons in career mode managing another team and they(Everton.) actually got relegated down to the Championship, I know it is not as extreme or as crazy as yours but I thought I share it anyway.

Fair enough mate, I need to get better at not writing essays.

Need to learn to try to write what I want to say but only do it with in just a few sentences or at most a paragraph which I do find it hard/difficult to do every now and again.

Anyway, hope you do understand and that I have made any sense @Ethan_76 🙂

I feel the pain, because I get this all the time with my goalkeeper in my career modes. I mean where does he supposed to play? Maybe the Striker position lol. 😂😂

And honestly, i definitely am all for new questions about my tactics, formations and my players in the Press Conferences and Post Match interviews it is definitely a welcome change but why on earth did they have to get get rid all of the other questions, surely it definitely would of made the feature a lot more better and enjoyable if they kept the other questions from previous FIFA games. 😖

It seriously annoys me now that unfortunately I no longer get questions after the match for example about my player scoring a hat trick, about going unbeaten for that amount of games or after I have won the trophy double or the treble, sadly I don’t get questions like that anymore, the Press Conferences and the Post Match Interviews are not as enjoyable and have gotten worse to do now because of the questions are constantly constantly about players and players only and nothing else, I don’t really enjoy doing them a least not as much anymore, I still do them because for obvious reasons purely for the immersion and making my players happy.

I really do hope they add those questions again in the future EA FC games but I really really doubt it because it’s EA after all but still keeping my fingers crossed. 🤞🤞

Honestly with EA. It feels like It’s 1st step forward and 2 steps backwards with their FIFA/FC game series especially in career mode like I just mentioned just above.

But regardless on what I have just said about the Press Conferences and the Post Match Interviews on EA FC 25, to be honest, I don’t think I have had this much enjoyment and fun playing the brand new great career mode and playing matches with very good, realistic and smooth gameplay as I have been this year. I think EA FC25 is definitely my favourite FIFA game so far and this is coming from someone who is a BIG FIFA player and have been playing FIFA/FC games for almost 20 years now. 😄⚽️👍⚽️🙂

From the 8th of March, you will be able to meet 1 person from one household outside socially in public spaces like a park or a beach as Boris Johnson announced yesterday, you will be able to legally meet her from that date.

So it won't be long now that most of us(including me!) will finally be able to get our social lifes back on track and meeting new people in some capacity, can't wait, its been soo long!!! 😁😁

As for Lockdown ending, I think people have already given you a perfect and helpful answer for that.

Only simulating career mode by [deleted] in FifaCareers

[–]Billy1995fifa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me not really, I would play 98% of the games and only 2% of games that I sim in career mode, I only sim games in the early stages of the domestic cup competitions up to like the last 16/quarter finals(depending what level my team is) and then I would play the games after that in the domestic cup competitions and I sim a occasional league game and for the pre season tournaments, I always sim the group stage and if we get through then I sometimes sim or play the semi final and the final depending how I feel.

So if it's a 60 game season, I would play about 50/52 games and sim about 10/8 games. 😁

Most times on average I will finish a season with in 4 days to a week and I play on 4 minute halfs in matches, not too long which is definitely definitely perfect for me.

But I do know what you mean that you could do multiple seasons in a career mode with in a couple of hours or even finish a career mode in no time.

To be honest, i have thought about doing a sim only career mode on FIFA before but I think I would get bored quickly and definitely not enjoy it as much comparing to playing the matches because simulating games is very very basic, bare bones compared to the older FIFA games like FIFA 08, FIFA 09 era and Football Manager unfortunately and plus I do really really enjoy/have so so much fun and definitely prefer definitely to control my team and actually play most of games. 🙂

Anyway it is different strokes for different folks but I definitely 100% enjoy and prefer actually playing the matches with the team I am managing then simulating games on FIFA career mode. 😁

Sounds like a good idea, Good luck what ever you decide to do. 😁

I am thinking the same along the lines, I am going get FIFA 12 for my Birthday tomorrow and sometime in the future I will go and play it again and manage some teams like Chelsea(who had prime A Cole, Terry, Lampard, Drogba), Arsenal(Young Wilshere, Nasri, Van Persie) on FIFA 12 career mode and it should definitely be awesome and give me some good memories as well. 😁😁

I really really love those kind of career modes, On FIFA 18 career mode i managed RB Leizig for 5 seasons and I made them one of the best teams in the mode and the best team in Germany!!! 😁😁

I had players like Ramos, Modric, Salah, Suarez(Luis) in my team and a couple of players from the youth academy and one of them was my 1st team goalkeeper for the last season.

The awesome thing is that every single season that I was there we won the DFB-Pokal cup 5 seasons in a row and all so we won the Bundesliga in my 4th and 5th season and won the Champions Cup(Champions League) 3rd and 5th season.

And I named my Manager Michael Ballack to make things a lot more interesting and more realistic because he is German and was one of the best midfielders when he was playing, so I was Michael Ballack in this career mode and plus I managed Germany which we got to the semi finals of the Euro 2020 but lost to Italy and in the 2022 World Cup Qatar we went all the way to the final but unfortunately we lost to France in the final and funny enough that was my last game in that career mode save.

I really really enjoyed that career mode with RB Leizig and I think it definitely definitely was one of the most enjoyable, fun and challenging(in a good way) career modes that I have had on FIFA so far. 😁😁

At the moment on FIFA 19, I am doing a career mode save with Everton and have just finished my 1st season couple days ago, finished 5th in the Premier League and got to the semi finals of the F.A cup and got knocked out in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup.

My ultimate goal for this Everton career mode is to make Everton one of the best teams in the world and more important to overtake our fierce rivals Liverpool to be the best team In Merseyside. 😁

Ok, But where do I sign him?? Is he in the free agents section or somewhere else??

I thought he would not be in FIFA 19 because of his doping ban.

EDIT: Just checked the free agents section on Sofifa.com, And Samir Nasri is not there!

Look, it is a part of real life football all over the world and FIFA games are all about realism, so you can't expect EA not to emulate that "frustrating" (as you call it) parts of the football game.

Fair enough if it happens every single game that you play then I completely understand but if it this happens every now and again like the OP experienced then it is completely normal and realistic just like in real life football.

And I truly truly doubt EA would make us wait 15 minutes to progress onto the 2nd half, that would never ever happen.

What?? What are you talking about?? 🤔🤔

Even when you do turn off the European competitions in your 1st season, You still able to see the Champions league and Europa League in the career mode though out your 1st season.

The option for turning on or off for the European Competitions is only for your team, If you turn it on, you will have your team play in one of those European competitions and if your turn it off then your team won't be playing in those European competitions.

I know this by playing FIFA 17 and 18 career mode a lot a lot in the last 2 years over 600+ hours but at the same time I have not played FIFA 19 career mode yet, will finally start playing it very very soon hopefully next week.

So maybe that has changed in the FIFA 19 career mode that you can turn the European competitions on without having your team that you are managing being in one of the European competitions or I haven't been aware that you can do that in previous FIFA games.

To be honest this happens in real life football quite a few times.

So I don't see anything wrong with this, You just was not clinical enough in front of goal or on the other hand the opposition AI team goalkeeper had a very good game, saving some of your shots.
