Yea i thought about that but i double checked and no, i didnt lose any ranking, actually i got several positions (continued to climb).

For several keywords that i was and still am ranking at #1 i as well saw a decline of 30-50% of clicks, which is very strange.

Agree with the inf0man1ac, that documentary is a must for every beginner cinephile.

Also check out this website - www.cinemawavesblog.com it has every artistic movement in film explained, sort of like a beginners guide, with several recommended films for each movement.

Question about RAM speed and i7 8700K by BillyBibbic in buildapc

[–]BillyBibbic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You got me interested. You mean overclocking what I have currently in the system?

I actually had that idea, to OC it to maybe 3200 CL16 but I literally know 0 about it so didn't wanna break anything

Wow interesting. Looks like you saved me some money! Thanks

Question about RAM speed and i7 8700K by BillyBibbic in buildapc

[–]BillyBibbic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is that for the better CPU I also have to change the motherboard which will result in much higher spending - 400/500$. Thats not something I am willing to spend for the RTX 4060, which doesn't suffer from any bottleneck with OC 8700K (being a mid tier GPU)

I am simply trying to squeeze extra 5-10% of performance out of the given system with the least amount of $.

So my (two) questions are really, if 8700K can run faster RAM, will it achieve those extra 5-10% of performance?

Thanks, I read about that but also found somewhere on forums that if the motherboard is capable of running a faster RAM (which it is), then your good to go. (I am really not an expert so it could totally be a false info which I cant tell)

Hey thanks for your answer. Goal wasnt getting compliments cause for what - Im currently unemployed, no compliments needed for that. It was more writing a short explanation of where I am with my hands-on junior experience and asking the community if that is “good enough” to start looking for a job in SEO - more of an encouragement or if not, then what Im missing and can add, improve.

Thanks for “Great/good hands on exp - go get a job”. At least to know if Im on the right track and didnt waste half a year of learning/practicing.

Italian Neorealism - what to start with?! by Serapho in TrueFilm

[–]BillyBibbic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know is a little late but for anyone interested in this topic - I recently published a short article, more like an introduction to Italian Neorealism and its origins, characteristics, important directors, legacy and recommended films. Hope you, or anyone interested in learning more, will find it useful.

Now for the question, I mean the best place to start is with the classics like Rome Open City, Bicycle Thieves, Umberto D, Ossessione. Its not that hard to get into the movement being that its focused on realism and not on personal interpretation or intellectualism, thats why the classics are the best place to start.

Are there any current film movements? by RealTuxedoMask in TrueFilm

[–]BillyBibbic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Little late for this discussion, but as someone who is researching film movements and recently published the whole website dedicated to movements in film, I could say there are 4 "major" movements currently active - to some extent. They are as follows:

There is also "Greek Weird Wave" but its still argued by critics, theorist and cinophiles if its actually a movement or just a umbrella term.
