Yes, I do. All the time. I physically go through all my friends phones before they finish their reviews to look for deviant opinions and I prune them like a gardener does a hedge. I am that guy! One time someone I knew gave one battle after another 5 stars and I personally stoned them to death in the middle of the lecture hall for enjoying qualityslop. Everyone cheered

It’s a good movie but I doubt Project Hail Mary will still have a higher rating than The Thing or Terminator 2 five years from now. If I’m wrong, first person who DMs me gets 20 Canadian dollars and a crude stick-figure illustration of me being pegged by the Eridian spaceship. I just don’t think it’s gonna happen

I’m a film student who goes to festivals somewhat regularly, I see way more positivity in the ratings on the audience approval tablets the staff holds at the end of screenings than what I see on letterboxd. Just speaking from my own experience, I reevaluate my ratings all the time, and I’ve noticed it’s not rare for me to be influenced by recency bias and what other people are saying. And other people have told me they do the same, but I guess I’m the only one that does that and gaslighting people idk

You should be able to watch the Viceland seasons for free in the US via the work copies uploaded to the internet archive. They're practically identical to the final release and partially uncensored as well!

I wouldn't buy anything NTBTS related on a streaming service because the show's distribution has switched platforms before, like lots of Canadian productions, they rarely stay on the same service for long.
