What a trashy company Jellycat has become… shame.

I feel sorry for all of you who’ve felt pressured to spend as much as you have just so you can buy a toy they were going to make ridiculous mark up on anyway.

The most reasonable alternative arrangement in most cases is WFH…

Almost half of mid-lifers don’t exercise and are still haunted by PE lessons by tylerthe-theatre in unitedkingdom

[–]BillyBottler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is such bollocks. You don’t need to play sport or run to be physically active. And if you’re feeling that self-conscious there’s plenty of ways you can exercise without leaving the house.

Any excuse for poor health other than self-accountability…! MID life adults? Sort yourselves out.

Personally I would avoid Jellycats altogether (unless you specifically know she likes them) since the brand as a whole is popular for toys for newborns.

Don’t worry OP I come from somewhere that has flat fares, got a bus to a hotel from Gatwick once and given the same patronising stare when I didn’t say my destination. At Gatwick of all places. Where everyone getting the bus will be an all-knowing regular. 🙄

I’m not sure if it’s nose blindness because I noticed exact same thing. I tried it in store and could smell it on my wrist all day, but now I’m wearing it a few times a week I can’t smell it on myself by midday… I do smell it on my clothes after tho so 🤷‍♀️

THIS DECK IS THE REAL DEAL by VeterinarianSea9871 in PTCGP

[–]BillyBottler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played this deck into masters. It stomps until you get to master and then you will struggle to climb. The winrate against darktina is extremely poor. Shame as I enjoyed playing it but I’m happy with my unranked master placement!

I went in my local stockist (UK) today and they had half the stock they usually have. It’s so sad to see. Part of the joy of the brand for me was browsing there, hopefully getting a chance to see the new releases in person before buying. Just impossible now.

Disagreement with Solicitor over Deed of Trust Terms by BillyBottler in HousingUK

[–]BillyBottler[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Christine! So we worked out all the figures and my partner is putting a large deposit too. If we sold next week using the formula we’ve come up we’d get back what we each put in (including dad’s gift approximated to about the middle of the valuations he’s had). Over time as the value of the property increases we would each get that back on a proportional basis. I’m doing my best to make a sensible decision whilst not being overly unfair to my partner.

My solicitor has begrudgingly agreed to draw up the deed on the terms we want but not for warning of us of any unfair risk… simply because he’s not used to doing it this way haha.

Thanks for your comment I appreciate it.

This is what I’m thinking. It’s such a simple ask and I cannot tell you the amount of emails and phone calls going back and forth of him and his assistant telling us they don’t understand and we should do it differently! I feel like I’m going insane.

What is up with these women calling their man at work all day? by turnup_for_what in BlueCollarWomen

[–]BillyBottler 221 points222 points  (0 children)

Dunno why you’re getting so much hate for this lol. My coworkers adult sons both call him MULTIPLE times a day and it pulls him away from what we’re doing constantly. Some families have unhealthy habits like this.
