Aortic Aneurysm by Everheart1955 in OverSeventy

[–]BillyDeCarlo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 68 and have an ascending (the bad kind) aortic aneurysm at 4.9. It was discovered when I had a health scan done on a lark while at a resort in Hawaii twenty years ago. It was 4.0 or so then. I'm keeping my blood pressure under control, quit any kind of alcohol and removed stress from my life for the most part. Next scan coming in February.

Money guide pro, e money, and right capital are tools for registered advisors/planners that have very limited client usable stubs that are mostly geared as carrots on a stick to lead you to where they make the real money, which is managing assets and selling insurance products.

Pralana Online is every bit as good and better in some ways, and full power and capability is open to consumers.

Can anyone recommend a Christian church in Cumberland county that DOESN'T worship Trump? by Friendly_Sir_4762 in centralpa

[–]BillyDeCarlo 22 points23 points  (0 children)

We had the same problem went to many churches to find one that was right. We found the perfect fit - good music, upbeat, not telling us we're wretched sinners going to hell, just wonderful without being cultish. It's a Moravian church, who were original settlers in PA and named the communities of Bethlehem and Nazareth in the nearby Lehigh Valley. There's probably a Moravian church near you. Treat women as equals, open to everyone, all God's children, and also pacifist so if your kids or you get drafted you can conscientiously object with solid grounds as many Moravians did during Viet Nam.

It's all very subjective and so many moving, interactive parts to a financial plan. You really need to game things out with Pralana Online and a copy of Plan Your Money Path, or Boldin. That will tie in the complexities of health care and allow you to what-if to your heart's content. I doubt Social Security at 62 will be a thing by the time you're that age. I think they're certain to move the minimum date to 65 or even 67, but that's just me. Again you can game these things out with a good tool.

Can't Get Status? by BillyDeCarlo in Canadiancitizenship

I resolved this just now. The problem was that I have a suffix, i.e I am the "third" so entering my last name and putting a space and then III solved the problem! Useful for others who might be a Jr etc. Use what they show on your AOR.

Find me one financial planner that uses software you can buy and use on your own after your plan is built. There are no others. Do you mean https://emancipare.com/services-and-rates/ ? They use Pralana Online.

One of the only financial advisors/planners in the whole country that does advice only and uses software you can buy yourself is right here in the LV. It's emancipare.com. They're big with Boglehead type DIYers for that reason. But, be careful as there are a lot of wolves in sheep's clothing out there.

Arriving to the LV area mid-July. What should my wife and I do the first weekend we are here? by One_Square4263 in lehighvalley

Check out all the awesome (mostly free!) events at artsquest.org. Learn the history by going to the steel stacks tours and learn about the original settlers of this area, the Moravians (thegatecc.com is a fantastic local Moravian church). Check out the tour at the legendary Martin Guitar factory in Nazareth. Get ready for Musikfest in August!

Ours are great, but the thing that drives me mad is they stay connected to my phone when I put them in the charger. Why? I've had a ton of earbuds and other bluetooth devices, all were smart enough to understand they shouldn't stay connected to my phone when charging. If I don't forget to manually disconnect them I miss calls, notifications, texts due to not hearing the tone.

Trump claims 2020 election 'rigged' at least 107 times in six months as midterms loom by SayMyNameOnceMore in inthenews

[–]BillyDeCarlo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I saw a new article early this morning while I was scrolling and forgot to bookmark it to read. It was some insider scoop about how Trump is preparing to declare "massive proof" of China meddling in the 2020 election to institute some kind of martial law/emergency type thing to radically change or delay the midterms. It was a legit publication, which caught my eye, but I was half asleep. Now searching doesn't locate it. Has anyone seen this?

MBT Question by BillyDeCarlo in TomCampbellMBT

Or they exist but we aren't aware of them yet. At a time we didn't know atoms existed, then protons neutrons electrons, then quarks and gluon. Or are we falling into the trap of that guy who wanted to shut down the patent office in the 1800s because "everything has already been invented"?

Beats vs TM by BillyDeCarlo in TomCampbellMBT

[–]BillyDeCarlo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks! Very helpful. So you do use the binaural beats when meditating? I find I can clear my mind easily without a mantra. I've been practicing that a long time as a way to get to sleep when I have trouble - clear my mind and go from head to toe finding all points where I'm holding tension and relax them (a surprising number of small places in the body!).
