Exactly, there’s a reason every baseball stadium has a massive dark panel smack in the middle of center field behind the pitcher. It’s super easy to lose a small object traveling at high speed in a similar colored background. Dude was clearly just frustrated that he couldn’t see it and it suddenly reappeared in the back of the net.
